Things can only get better

Morning all, happy Tuesday

Got a busy day ahead, no walk this morning as needed to log onto work at 7am. Mr M delivery coming at 8 then I'm facilitating on a training course at 10. Need to finish work early as have the dentists at 3pm for my final crown fitting. 

Day off tomorrow thank goodness, although taking Mr SA for his eye test which will involve me sitting around waiting for him then having to be firm with the optician that no he doesn't need to wear varifocals at c£200 the free NHS reading glasses will do nicely, he rarely wears them anyway. Can you imagine him having to wear glasses all the time, how many pairs would he break, doesn't bear thinking about. He had another fall yesterday in his new jogging bottoms, thankfully he hasn't ripped them.

Will try and find some time to nip out with the dog before the training then take her out again at lunchtime. FitOn workout or treadmill run later in the day. 

I now have 5 spending days in a row, although all planned and accounted for.

That’s Tuesday done ✅ 

Mr M delivery was great just 2 subs, both sensible, nothing missing and acquired a red pepper I didn’t order or pay for.  Dentists appointment was quick, new permanent crown in, had to pay £95 for lab fees but thankfully the crown itself was covered by insurance. I dread to think how much it is for a private crown. 

Mr SA crashed his scooter yet again into the bench on the park this lunchtime. It went with a right crunch but no visible damage thankfully. No idea what he’s on with.

The downside of today is the England football match tonight 😩👎 As I won the battle on Saturday night night and got to watch Strictly when there was yet another England match on, I thought it was only fair to let Mr SA watch this one, especially when there isn’t anything in particular I want to watch. Where have all these blooming football matches suddenly come from. 

A squirrel has buried things in a plant pot on the patio and keeps coming back and eating whatever it’s buried. It was quite amusing as a blackbird came and shooed it off 😆

The washing I hung out this morning is still on the line as it rained on and off all afternoon. Hopefully the weather will be dry tomorrow for our trip into town.

When I moved into this house SA I bought a smart TVs for the bedroom knowing he was going in hospital to have his knee done and I send him upstairs to watch the football now it drives me mad he would have the television on 24 7 if I let him he is sport mad but will honestly watch 2 flys crawling across the screen good luck with mr SA today

Glad to hear your dental trip went well SA and not too pricey - dental costs be horrendous once you hit the crown territory!😱

2 blooming hours in Specsavers 😩 Thankfully that’s it for 2 years. He’s got some new reading glasses, I’m going to collect them next Wednesday. Had to fend off various attempts to sell extra eye tests, hearing tests and optional additions to the glasses. Was ready for a nice pub lunch afterwards. Unfortunately every single thing I chose from the menu was unavailable, the only veggie option they had was a very small bowl of nachos and salsa, good job I wasn’t starving. I hate to sound fussy but the wine was awful too, on the verge of being undrinkable. Won’t be going there again. It’s a shame as the food used to be alright there. Mr SA enjoyed his burger and chips but it looked lost on the huge plate they served it on. Oh well. 

Mr SA has come back with a new coat, 2 pairs of PJs, some undies and yet another man bag so it’s been a spendy day.

Got home and went straight back out again to take the dog for a run on the park. Well I had to run off those nachos 🤣🤣

Got to do my day in the office tomorrow, not particularly looking forward to it but it will tick a box. 

So that’s Wednesday done.
