What I would give for a haircut right now. Anyone remember Chrystal Tips and Alastair - that’s my hair and it looks like there is still at least another month to go 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

More than anything it’s my fringe. I’ve had a go at trimming it but it just grows and grows. I’ve got long hair so it’s not as if I’ve got some precision style needing high maintenance. In the 70s I had waist length hair, no idea what I did with my fringe then, my mum probably cut it, can’t remember going to a hairdresser.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I can’t remember going to a hairdresser when I was young the same my mam probably cut mine although last week someone put some pictures on Facebook of a place I worked as a teenager and we all looked as if we had a bowl put on our head I think it might of been the purdy cut we looked ridiculous 😂5

🤣 I remember aspiring to a Purdey haircut too. I suspect it actually looked like the bowl haircut too. Randomly Purdey autocorrected to purvey - I certainly didn't aspire to a purvey haircut 🥴.7

Morning all, happy Friday Eve 😎
Haven't done my usual Thursday morning trip to the big Mr T but will need to go to Aldi at some stage. I was going to go this morning when they open at 8am but I need to make a list of what I need first so will probably leave it until after work.
Apart from that not a lot happening today. Cleaning is the bedroom, exercise will be walking to and from Aldi, walking the dog and some sort of yoga/pilates/stretching session. I think I'm going to make vegan campfire stew for my dinner tonight, just need to check I've got all the ingredients first.
Can see a wood pigeon gorging itself on the bird table, all they do is eat and poop - and get stuck in chimneys 😆

I braved Aldi after work, actually it wasn’t very busy, picked a good time to go. Unfortunately they didn’t have the door mat and seeds I’d gone for but I picked up some groceries we needed so not a wasted journey. Mr SA came to meet me on his scooter to bring the bags back and brought the dog with him so she got a bonus walk.I’ve had a message from the bedroom fitter and he’s coming to have a look on Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Just catching up with diaries. The hair thing is hard work, I think it has helped me with my spending priorities. Hair is not optional.
Yesterday on my first video call realised my grey roots matched my grey jumper and grey toned scarf. I could claim its deliberate! My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
