Bit of excitement just earlier. I looked out of the bedroom window to see two police cars haphazardly parked across our drive 😱 I was in the middle of running a bath so kept peeping out. The police came back with a man, a dog and a little girl and they all got in the back of the car and drove off. I’m dying to know what happened, probably nothing that exciting but my mind is working overtime 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

That’s what happens when we can’t get out and about to see anyone everything is exciting 😂 good news on the bedroom7

Hope the meeting with the bedroom fitter goes well. And you also manage to get a good quote on your three chimneys!I have dire hair too. At least I've got my appointment in the diary during the week beginning April 12! The hairdresser will need to cut at least two inches off by the time I see him!I wonder what the police cars incident was about?🤔Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Happy Friday 🎈😍👏🎉
Another working week almost done. Have managed to get myself involved in a meeting that runs right across lunchtime today, can't blame anyone but myself as I set it up, it was the only time I could get us all together. Mr SA will have to get his own lunch for once.
Today's exercise is PE with Joe - it's his last one 😢 well it is meant for school children and they're going back on Monday. Will be taking the dog out after a late lunch then it will be 5k on the treadmill after work. Cleaning is whatever I didn't get time to do during the week. Tonight's dinner is a smoked haddock fishcake found lurking in the freezer with lots of veg. Mr SA is having his usual Friday fish, chips and mushy peas.
Interesting to see what the bedroom fitter comes up with tomorrow. I just want to get an idea of how much it will cost, if I have to wait until next year to get it done so be it. I really need to make a start on decluttering though, I have so much stuff in my wardrobes and don't even ask about the walk in wardrobe 😮 I've got way too many clothes, bags, shoes, toiletries and make up. Since I've been WFH I've hardly worn any of my clothes, have lived in jeans and leggings. There is talk of us going back to the office around July time but it will only be for 2/3 days a week in future. I like to wear smart clothes for work but I'll only need a few things for the couple of days I'm there.
Nearly forgot to say the dog was back to normal food-wise yesterday and she's already had her breakfast this morning, she doesn't usually have breakfast until later in the day.
Have a fabulous Friday 😊

Happy Friday.
Glad the dog is back to her usual self. They are a worry sometimes.
Fingers crossed the bedroom guy comes up with a good solution and price for you.6 -

I'm behind on diaries but I had a thought about your dog's irregular eating: you said she seems fine one day and reluctant to eat the next. Could this be cause and effect? This morning she was uncharacteristically hungry after not wanting to eat yesterday (i.e. she was ready and willing to eat, probably a bit peckish). If she doesn't eat tomorrow, could she be reacting to a common ingredient in her food, or have something like IBS?
I know nothing about dogs but I do wonder if the pattern is a clue.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thanks Cherry. The vet said small dogs are prone to acid reflux and this is what she'll be getting when she doesn't feel like eating. As long as it's just the odd day I'm not concerned at the moment. The vet said there is medication she can have if I get worried at any stage.
I can finally declare today as NSD 1 of March ✨

Forgot to add - DD couldn't find her house/work keys the other day. She hunted high and low for them both at home and at work, even had people at work keeping an eye out for them. This afternoon Mr SA put his hand in his coat pocket and guess what came out. Give me strength 😣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

😱 to the key debacle! How did Mr SA get on with getting his own lunch today?
I hear your pain with the work clothes. I will be sorting out my work clothes for the charity shop/ dress agency as I won't need them soon ( I probably can't fit into them anyway at the mo because of 'lockdown bloat!'🤣)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
