So I now need a chimney sweep apparently to fit bird guards and prevent this fiasco happening again. Investigated prices £79 including fitting, not bad I thought until Mr SA informed me we have 3 chimneys. Why have we got 3 blooming chimneys 😩On top of all this the dog is off her food again today, won’t even eat the chicken I’ve cooked her 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

As you have had the dogs blood tests back and they were clear I wouldnt let her not eating worry you too much. Just put her food down and if she hasnt eaten it within about 15 minutes lift it and make sure she gets nothing else until her next meal. Do you feed her once or twice a day. If it is once it might be worth splitting it in 2 and feeding twice a day. If its any comfort my Jack rarely eats all her breakfast but always eats her tea at high speed. Our Collie has been limping slightly for a day or two which isnt unusual but when he went out this afternoon he was limping very badly so dh brought him home while I walked the other 2 dogs and when I got back I rang the vet but there are no appointments until tomorrow morning so guess where I will be . Yep stood in the car park waiting for him. I am hoping it is nothing too serious as is front legs arent insured as he ended up at the vet the day after we got him so the insurance wont cover them although it was just a soft tissue injury which required no treatment. Keep your fingers crossed.6

The vet told me to feed her smaller amounts more often but she tends to eat twice a day, rarely at breakfast. She was eating normally yesterday and will no doubt be eating normally tomorrow. It just seems to last for a day then she’s fine. Fingers crossed for your Collie 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I actually did some exercise just now,I did squats while waiting for the kettle to boil 😀I listen to Dr Rangan Chaterjee's podcast Feel Better Live More and one of his tips if you are a reluctant exerciser is to do a set each time you boil the kettle to make a hot drink, I drink gallons of tea and coffee so if I do this every time it will add up to quite a few reps per dayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I've got a whole week of watching him sit there with a long face until next Wednesday, he just gets himself worked up into a state. At least I no longer have to go in the scanner room with him and hold his legs down, what a nightmare that used to be!
The squatting to the kettle wouldn't be much good to me as I have two coffees in the morning (and they're from a coffee machine) then just drink water for the rest of the day. I have a cut off point where I can no longer drink coffee and it's about 10am, can't drink hot drinks after that, I don't know why it's just a weird quirk of mine.
Today will be NSD 1 of March, finally got one in 😁 Exercise is PE with Joe. dog walking and a treadmill run after work. Cleaning is the bathroom. Tonight's dinner is veg chilli from freezer stocks and sweet potato wedges.
Managed to get myself into more or less back to back meetings at work today so will be a busy one.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204 -
