Mr SA has made me chuckle again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Got to ask why he had the keys in his pocket?7 -
Mr SA was fine with his lunch. I made him two ham, cheese a mushroom sandwiches and put them in the sandwich toaster, all he had to do was switch it on. My desk is right next to the kitchen so I could keep an eye on him. The lunchtime meeting overran and I didn’t get my lunch break until almost 2pm. By the time I’d had my lunch and took the dog out it was almost time to log off 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Absolutely no idea why he had the keys in his pocket Sheff and neither has he. He reckons he must’ve got them mixed up with his own keys but seeing as his keys are on a camouflage lanyard and DD’s are on a shoe key ring not sure there’s a connection there 🤷♀️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Have had a really busy morning. Went to the big Mr T this morning. Then the bedroom bloke came to do the quote, he’s going to give me a price one day in the week, fingers crossed it’s do-able. He seems really nice anyway and knows his stuff. He reckons it will take the best part of 2 weeks so we’ll be without a bedroom for that time but will be worth it once it’s done. After that took the dog for a very long walk. Annoyingly Mr SA wanted his lunch the minute we walked through the door and wasn’t bothered about my feet aching after doing close to 20,000 steps 😡
I need to do some cleaning up but I’m sitting with my feet up and reading my book first.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Hopefully you could tie it in with a nice holiday ?Sealed pot challenge 822

He’ll be able to do it around May time so unfortunately won’t be able to tie it in with a holiday. I prefer to be around anyway just to keep an eye on things. We’ll have to sleep in the living room. Mr SA reckons he’ll be fine in his chair and I’ll be ok on the sofa. All depends on the price. The quote is for fitted wardrobes along one wall, window seat/storage in the bay, some electrical work, replastering ceiling and walls and new skirting boards. Then we need to get a painter and new flooring which he doesn’t do. Plus new bed, dressing table, curtains, etc. Not going to be cheap but needs doing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Forgot to say Mr SA embarrassingly asked the bedroom bloke where he gets his supplies from, he (cringe) said I hope it’s not from B&Q. Anyway he gets his supplies from Howdens so all is well on that front. That’s the trouble when we have workmen round Mr SA always asks them something daft. After he’d gone Mr SA said we could just go to B&Q, buy the stuff and do it ourselves - really 😱🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Oh dear to Mr SA and the bedroom fitter and having DD's keys 😬😂 . It will be lovely to have the work done in your bedroom. Your walk by the golf course looks lovely, I wish I could access countryside by walking but unfortunately it's just too far so we're restricted to the park. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
