Thank you for posting this SA. Regular eye tests are also very important and not just for your eyes. My mum was suffering headaches and confusion and got fobbed off with painkillers at the doctor. Went to optician for regular eye test and was rushed to hospital for brain surgery. My brain tumour was found while taking part in medical research. The only symptom of mine is going deaf in one ear which doctors tend to write off as age related. Annual MRI last week with a mask to add to the claustrophobia!

Thanks for the info about brain tumours. It pays to have the right info.I think that’s an excellent price for the bedroom. We paid £3000 over 10 years ago.January spends - £587.588

Morning, happy Monday
Another new week, all fresh and shiny. Got a very long to do list today, both work and home things, today will fly by. I appear to have been nominated for an award at work, no idea what for, I haven't done anything in particular to warrant it as far as I know. Need to ask my manager what it's all about.
Cleaning task today is kitchen and dining room. Exercise is dog walking, HIIT Kickboxing and a treadmill run after work. Making a batch of spicy lentil and chickpea soup for lunch and vegan campfire stew for tonight (was meant to be making this last week but changed my mind). Need to ring the chimney bloke, a colleague has given me the number of the chap who did his when he had the same thing happen. Need to put in an order for a veg box this week, not had one for the past two weeks. Also need to order some seeds and compost.
Today will be NSD 3 of March won't be ordering anything today.

Well done on your award 🎉🎉 Im sure it's very much deserved 😊 I think when these health awareness campaigns happen they should concentrate on educating the doctors as well as the public because half the battle is trying to get them to listen and take you seriously in the first placeOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206

I haven’t won anything yet just been nominated. I doubt I’ll win because I can’t think what I might’ve done to deserve it. My manager doesn’t know anything about it.What a faff making the vegan campfire stew, took the best part of my lunch break to assemble it. It’s in the slow cooker now, it had better be worth it😆 It’s a Pinch of Nom recipe using jackfruit in place of gammon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Happy Tuesday
Got yet another busy working day. Have been out for a walk as the weather is so nice this morning, not that far but got 5k steps on the clock to start the day. The dog wouldn't come with me, she got back in bed when she saw her lead!
Got a Mr M delivery coming shortly, just noticed from the receipt they haven't taken the 10% discount that I get courtesy of DD working there. Looked back at previous receipts and haven't received the discount since 2 February so need to give them a ring to see what's happened. Also need to order the seeds and compost today. And book a taxi for the hospital for tomorrow, if I leave it until tomorrow morning I won't be able to get one as they get booked up for school runs until well after 9am. Still need to ring the chimney bloke.
Exercise other than the walk this morning is dog walking at lunchtime and a Pilates session after work. Cleaning is the bedroom. Tonight's dinner is harissa orzo bake. Having a portion of the vegan campfire stew for lunch as it made loads - it was ok but wouldn't bother making it again.
