Morning, happy hump day
Izzy your dog is so cute 😍
Today will revolve around Mr SA's MRI, taxi coming at 9am. It will obviously be a spends day as have taxi fares to pay out of about £9 each way.
Horrible dark wet morning here so no pre-work walk. Today's exercise will be taking the dog on the park and a treadmill run. Cleaning is the bathroom. Tonight's dinner is cauliflower madras, trying a new PON recipe.
Ordered the seeds, compost, shed paint and a few other bits yesterday. Still need to ring the chimney bloke. Not got a start date from the bedroom bloke yet but he did say it would probably be around the end of May. Not in a rush as I've got lots of decluttering to do and nowhere for it to go. Will have to take the week before off work to clear the bedroom. We've decided to set the bed up in the living room for the duration of the refurb as sleeping on the chair/sofa for 2 plus weeks might be a bit much. Fortunately the living room is a decent size so can cope with a king sized bed on top of the usual furniture. The bedroom stuff we're keeping will have to go in the gym. I'll hate the clutter but it will be worth it in the end.

Hope all goes well with mr SA scan today5

Scan all done, now to wait for the results. If he doesn’t hear anything then all is well. If anything untoward they will inform his consultant immediately. Fingers crossed we don’t hear anything. He’s a bit unsteady at the moment - he has to wear a helmet in the scan then halfway through they inject him with a dye, it always makes him shaky. Had a good chat with the receptionist while I was waiting, nice to speak to someone different. Was going to take the dog out when we got back but it’s pouring with rain. Will have to brave it at some stage though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Hoping you don’t hear anything about the scan then. I’m not surprised it makes him shaky. It must be worrying for you too. It’s sad that a hospital appointment turns into a social occasion. I’m looking forward to a ride out to mine next week. It’s an hours ride so we will have a little walk in some woods just beyond the hospital whilst we’re out. We usually go onto a seaside town half an hour further on when we visit this hospital but that’d be pushing things atm. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can have real social events again.January spends - £587.585

The dog enjoyed a run on the park but it’s like a mud bath so is filthy.I have a date pencilled in for the bedroom refurb - 17 May. Gives me plenty of time to declutter, book a week off work to empty the room, hire a skip and two more paydays to get the money in place.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
