What a horrible day, hope tonight’s gin is yummy. Also whispers I loved the skin on the top of a baked rice pudding, with nutmeg - lushAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Well isn’t just typical tonight’s gin is awful. Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger. It’s a gin liqueur so only 20% alcohol but I’ve had to water it down because it tastes like petrol (not that I’ve ever tasted petrol). I like ginger so it must be the rhubarb I can taste 👎
Went to a virtual farewell meeting for my WW coach tonight. Apparently there are lots of changes afoot she’s not keen on so has taken voluntary redundancy. Another casualty of COVID sadly, going towards virtual meetings, don’t need the staff.Got soaked again taking the dog on the park, she was covered in mud so put her in the bath after me. We had the Molton Brown one as a treat tonight 😂Looking forward to my day off tomorrow although I have to take the cat to the vets for the final part of her booster.I’m absolutely shattered tonight it won’t be a late one that’s for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Have loved looking at the pics of your garden, pond and trees. Perhaps you could get Mr SA to move into the greenhouse! Just a thought....😂

Sorry it was such a rubbish day. I'd have thought you'd be after Epsom Salts in the bath after carrying all that lot home, but Molton Brown will have had its own virtues. (I love that the dog had the water later!)
I wear my computer glasses a lot too: much my favourites. I wonder if there's a more efficient optician within range, though? Or perhaps take your prescription elsewhere?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
