He would’ve had to phone Motability breakdown, they come out pretty quickly. Thankfully he was only across the road. Luckily I have a very understanding employer.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Lovely to catch, and see the lovely pictures, green eyed at the greenhouse, well done for saving for the iPad. Hope the oven doesn’t take too long to save for. Giggled at the dog and posh bubble bath.
Finally admire your patience with OH
what was the gin tonight? We have a chocolate one 😁As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

@Bubblesmum it was Beefeater orange. I’ve had this before and love it. I don’t think I’d like chocolate gin 🤢I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning all, happy hump day 🎄
Aiming for a NSD today, will be the first one of December.
Today will seem a bit flat after the festive frolics on the radio yesterday, absolutely loved it. When I go back into the office it will seem really quiet with no music on. We've been told we will probably have to work from home at least 2 days a week once things are back to normal but this will be ideal for me, best of both worlds.
Exercise will be a run after work, walking the dog and something from my WW app. Tonight's dinner is homemade fish cakes from the freezer, sweet potato wedges and salad. Cleaning is bathroom today.
Have booked in a free bulky waste collection for the council to pick up my old printer and coffee machine next month. Last year when we did this someone took some of it overnight, which I don't mind if it's something someone wants. They'll be disappointed if they pick up these things though as they don't work, might leave a note on to that effect.
Echo are looking into the palaver with the GP about Mr SA's prescription, hopefully it will be sorted in time for next month's. Still not heard from Boots about the VDU glasses, might have to chase up.
So we are out of lockdown but into Tier 3 which is still lockdown in my opinion. Will be no different for me other than being able to get my hair cut next week.
Have a wonderful Wednesday x

You sound as if you are really getting into the Christmas spirit SA. Beefeater orange gin sounds lovely. I think more WFH will be the new norm but saves on commuting costs and time at least and having 3 days in the office and 2 at home is a good balance.
We are Tier 1 so I am off to the gym this morning and got spa session booked for tomorrow and class for a Friday before they put us in lockdown again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. We’re tier 3 and it feels as if we have been forever......it has been since July I think with a couple of weeks reprieve in the middle as my area was one of the lowest in the GM county so they let us drop down....but we were soon put back up again. It just feels fairly normal now and I think I’ve lost all desire to go out 🙄 it’s a tad annoying that my town is below the average. But that’s life and hopefully it’ll keep numbers down so we can be released n the near future.January spends - £587.5810

Have done some shuffling of finances and sent £200 to the holiday pot, although this is flexible and can be transferred out if I need it for something else. Hoping to be able to go away at the end of April but if not later in the year, depends on what happens. I don't want to go until I've had the vaccine tbh but want the money there ready.
I've put some odds and ends in my new oven pot so now have £46.72. Have had a look online to get an idea of how much I need to save and am thinking in the region of £600-ish for a decent one, so a long way to go yet 😂 No immediate panic as my current oven is still working.
Got to pick up my VDU glasses from Boots tomorrow morning. Will work for a bit first then take a very long lunch break. Going to walk to and from the city centre so will clock up some steps. Also got a £15 off voucher for M&S beauty so will nip in there and spend it. Also need to pick up a few special Christmas cards and birthday cards for DS and DD. Will also nip in Lidl on the way home. Mr SA will meet me with the dog at Lidl so he can pick up any bags on his scooter and the dog will get a decent walk back home. Must make a list as killing about 10 birds with one stone there 😁 Very inconveniently DS's birthday is Christmas week and DD's is mid-January, very bad planning on my part.
Doing a live Zumba session later instead of running, a work friend is an instructor and doing a free session on her FB page. The new iPad will come in useful for this 👍
