I do like a live Christmas tree in the garden, there's one at my Mum's old house which I will probably offer to the lady who's been faithfully decorating it for many years to make the house look occupied.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Morning, happy Monday 🎄
Payday today, finances sorted, cleared the CC, still a few pending purchases to clear but the money is there in my account ready for when they do. Will have extra to pay out later in the month as Octopus want a month's payment up front but I can take this from the money put to one side destined for the emergency fund, will be better off in the long run paying a lot less a month.
Need to chase up the doctors again as I changed Mr SA's prescription to be delivered via Echo rather than pick it up at our local chemists. His meds run out this weekend and despite the doctors reassuring me they've sent the prescription to Echo, Echo say the doctors haven't authorised it. I've now had to ring the doctors 6 times to sort it out and it's still not right. Another thing that should be straightforward and isn't 😣
Cleaning will be the kitchen and dining room.
Exercise will be a treadmill run after work and a 15 minute back yoga flow from the WW app. Plus taking the dog out.
Had to go to Mr T Express this morning for bread and a paper so a low spends day.
Mr SA not feeling too well today, he has an upset tummy. Reckons he was up half the night being sick but I didn't hear him.
Tonight's dinner will be Quorn lasagne from freezer supplies with salad. Mr SA will have to see how he feels later food wise.
The greenhouse man has arrived to do the last few bits.
Have a magnificent Monday x

Still haven’t got the prescription sorted properly. Apparently someone at the doctors intercepted it and sent it to the chemists. Will have to collect it from local chemists now. They’ve sent me a barcode to give to Echo so they can start from next month. TBH I don’t think they know what they’re doing 🙄My iPad has arrived and I’ve set it up, only took a few minutes via my phone. So very much better for some of my apps to be seen on a large screen like Duolingo, banking, kindle and shopping. Mr SA was asleep when it arrived, I’m hoping he won’t notice it’s a new one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Love the greenhouse and the decorated conifer outside. What a great idea to put lights on. We have a tree planted in the garden that was a potted Christmas tree a few years back. It’s quite slow growing but might put some lights on that one! Thanks for the inspiration!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
