I love the pond too, I've thought about having a small one in my garden but can't be doing with the upkeep of it. Your tree is very pretty too,I'm loving seeing everyone's decorations today 😀 that green house is the business isn't it ,I'm glad you got it built eventually.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1207

I’m really pleased with the greenhouse, he did a great job and only charged £120 for all yesterday and a few hours today. I gave him an extra £10 it was well worth it. He cut down the conifers at the back too. He’s a retired bloke, although doesn’t look that old, and does odd jobs as a hobby.I’ve given up with the Christmas decorations for now will finish off tomorrow.HHOD and OBL you could have a small water feature in your garden, wouldn’t take up much room and little maintenance involved. Same sort of effect.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Love your tree, SA.
My grandfather had a greenhouse when I was a little girl and I loved going into it. It was so warm and he grew all sorts of things from seed in it. It had the loveliest earthy smell. I can still remember the taste his home grown tomatoes all these years later. I look forward to hearing about al the beautiful things you're going to grow in it.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -

I love the pond and the greenhouse. We have a pond with a waterfall flowing into it....dh had the bright idea of making a tunnel under the waterfall for the train track.....it was a trickier job than he expected and looks pretty good when it’s switched on.....but it has a slight leak but, can’t figure out where.....so if left on all the time empties the pond🙄 I’d love a greenhouse but haven’t got room.January spends - £587.588

I used to love my grandad’s greenhouse too Toni’s Friend. He had a huge brick outbuilding and the greenhouse was attached to it. His garden was beautiful and looked out onto open fields. The smell of tomato plants always reminds me of him. We’ve had a greenhouse before but it was a cheap flimsy one and didn’t last long. We grew lots of things in it though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I love the tree! And admittedly I have greenhouse envy, it will be well worth the wait. Make sure you order all the seed catalogues for after Christmas, as @IzzyBee says.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
