I would love a pond in the garden but our garden is too small. Plus when we go to our friends house who have a pond in the garden the dog is a nuisance and spends the whole evening chasing the fish!

That looks lovely relievedsheff. My dog is a devil for dropping balls in ours. When we emptied it to clean it there must’ve been at least 10 at the bottom.Up late this morning didn’t wake up until 7.30. Good job the greenhouse man isn’t coming until 9.
Not going anywhere today other than local shops for a few bits and to take the dog out. Got to catch up on cleaning that didn’t get done in the week.Christmas decorations are going up this weekend 🎄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
The pond looks lovely SA. We have a smaller one than yours with a waterfall which is nice to sit beside on warm days and watch the fish (just goldfish now as our golden orfe grew huge and had to be rehomed.) There is a fence in front of it at the moment to stop the grandchildren accidentally falling in though. We have a large pump and filter but still had issues with water going green last year until we cleaned it out and this year it has been fine. I always thought ponds shouldn't need to be cleaned but we had 10 years of sludge at the bottom.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. We’ve got a waterfall and a fountain but don’t have the fountain on much as it’s really noisy. The birds love the waterfall, there’s a little ledge where they can bathe, I love to watch them. It’s full of newts too. When the GKs were a bit younger DIL was paranoid about them going near it. The pond is the only original feature left from when we first moved in. The previous owners were market gardeners and kept goats. Most of the garden was concreted over with drains and there were 6 sheds. Took a lot of hard work breaking up the concrete, absolute nightmare.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Wow your pond is lovely, I'm very jealous as I would love a pond but may have to settle for a large bird bath in our tiny garden 🤣.
Your Christmas tree looks lovely 🎄 and the green house looks very good quality. I agree with spending more for something that will last a long time and save money ultimately. I got a bek0 larder fridge and upright freezer 17 years ago and the fridge is still going strong. The freezer was going strong too until we had a leak from the ceiling onto it and stopped working, but we bought another bek0 freezer to replace it.
I hope you're pleased with your 🐙 energy deal. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
