English Tier 3 all shops, hairdressers and beauty salons open. Pubs and restaurants closed but can offer takeaways. Can meet up in a park etc but no more than 6.Amazon had £20 off the iPad I wanted so have gone for it, I don’t think I’ll get a better offer, not on an Apple product. That’s it I can stop looking now. I can’t wait to get my shopping, banking, exercise apps, Duolingo etc on there, stop me straining my eyes on my phone.
Still got a few Christmas bits to get, not much though. Thinking about getting a smallish real Christmas tree in a pot to put on the patio 🤔 Wanted one last year but couldn’t get one delivered at a reasonable price. Local park with nursery doing them for £25 free delivery.
Going to watch a live cook along on the WW app at 6pm. They’re doing a veg curry.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Beanielou - Highest tier in Scotland (Tier 4) all non essential shops, hairdressers, beauty salons, etc are closed. Pubs and restaurants are closed apart from takeaways and we're not allowed to leave our own local authority area apart from essential travel. Practically the whole of the central belt is in Tier 4.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

Yes, it is, SA but I think our restrictions have generally been just a wee bit more strict. Schools are still open. I'm in Tier 4 till December 11 when it will be reviewed. The lower Tiers have a bit more freedom as far as shops, etc opening.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5

I think on the whole I’ve had a mixed day. The energy switch is going ahead and starts on 13 December. Will save me a fair bit of money in the long run. I’ve not switched for years because I had my fingers burned the last time I switched from Scottish Power to nPower and vowed I wouldn’t do it again. But needs must to save money and Octopus have good reviews.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Well do well done on the switch 👍January spends - £587.585

We switch energy providers almost every time our tariff is up unless our current provider has a decent deal for us.
We are currently with British Gas but unless their alternative tariffs suddenly get a lot cheaper we will be switching in February when our current deal expires. Their current alternative tariffs are way more than we are currently paying.5 -
