You’ll all be relieved to know I’ve just ordered a gin advent calendar 🤣 Amazon have reduced the price of one I was looking at earlier. I can use the Mr M vouchers on my online shop and pay myself back that way. The deed is done ✔️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I am really pleased with it as I have fairly short arms so I don't have to lean across the doors to get heavy casseroles etc out of the oven. It was fairly expensive but this was the first kitchen we had put in any house which was not done on a budget courtesy of my husbands lump sum from pension so we decided we would go for the things we wanted rather than cost being the main consideration. Morning all, happy Thursday 🎄
What a day so far😩
Email from Scottish Power this morning putting up my monthly DD by £32 😱 So got straight onto switching via MSE cheap energy club and moving to Octopus 🐙
Went to big Mr T first thing, Mr SA asked me to pick him some beer up and he’d come down on his scooter and pick up my bags. Rang him 4 times no reply. Really struggled with 2 very heavy bags and getting up the very steep hill to my house was a killer. Had to keep stopping to put the bags down. Got home to find he’d got his blooming phone on mute 😩
No work internet connection today, national problem being looked into urgently. Talking of work we’ve had our promised pay rise frozen, not surprised in the least tbh.
