Morning all, happy Saturday 🥂Fab idea cherry 🤣
Pleased to report I’ve lost 1.5lbs this week. 4.5 to go to be back at goal.Going to pick my glasses up when Boots opens and pop into Lidl on the way back. Such a blooming pain I can’t go for a coffee while I’m in town just to rest my legs a bit before the return journey. Walking there and back, takes about 40 minutes each way so the steps count will look good today.
The rest of the day will be spent catching up with the cleaning. Having curry for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA’s will be beef rogan josh made in the slow cooker, mine will be either one from the freezer stocks or make chickpea tomato and spinach, not decided yet.
Have a super Saturday xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -

Enjoy your trip to Boots. I second it’s a pain not being able to sit and rest whilst having a coffee.January spends - £587.588

What a waste of time that was. Tried the glasses on looked at a screen to test them, no better than looking at the screen without glasses. They took them away to test the lenses and they’ve put the wrong ones in. Plus the frames were rough to the touch. Boots are sending them back with a complaint. So that means another trip into town when they’re ready. They offered to post them but I need to check they’re right. What a palaver 😩
Town was eerily quiet, hardly anyone about, mainly elderly and some scruffy looking people. Nipped into Wilko and Lidl on the way home, even Lidl was fairly quiet.
Mr SA brought the dog out to meet me so she’s had a good walk. I’m on 14k steps already but my feet are aching a bit.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

To be honest @beanielou it wasn’t Boots fault it’s the place where the glasses are from Smart Employee Eyecare, that’s why Boots are putting in a complaint to them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Took the dog on the park this afternoon for a run with her ball. Still haven’t done the blooming cleaning, I don’t know where today has gone. Ended up on 20k steps today which is a plus. Chased up the greenhouse man and he’s coming on Friday. He’s been self isolating as his son tested positive. Giving him the benefit of the doubt obviously but Covid and Brexit seem to be convenient excuses right now 🤔

Morning happy Sunday 😎
Nice chilled start to the day, sitting with a coffee, hair mask on and just finished my book. Starting on the Christmas books now 🎄
Taking the dog to a bigger further away park this morning where they’ve got a little garden centre with a Christmas shop. It’s about 30 minutes walk away. After that need to have a tidy/clean round, do next week’s meal plan and finalise the Mr M shop for Tuesday.
Have a good one xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
