Morning, happy Friday ✨
Wow the weeks are flying by! Doesn't seem like five minutes since last Friday.
Should be a quiet day work wise, just tying up loose ends ready for next week. Will also be a NSD, no plans to go anywhere today other than the park across the road with the dog at lunchtime.
Not heard anything from Boots about my glasses so will chase them up again. Must remember to message the greenhouse man to see if he's still going to do it, if not will try someone else. I hate having to chase people up, shouldn't have to do it really.
Today's exercise will be one a Wake up with Joe session and one from the WW app Awesome Upper Body. Will have to find somewhere cat-free to do the WW one, she's fascinated by my phone. She's funny though, sometimes when I'm in a Teams meeting with work she spots the faces on my screen and jumps on my desk and starts hitting the faces.
DD gets paid today and has already paid her board. Some of this will go towards the iPad and sending £100 of it to my holiday pot. Still putting money away for holidays as hoping things will start getting back to normal at some stage next year.
Will have to catch up on cleaning this weekend as haven't really had time to do much this week, no plans to go anywhere other than Mr T for a few bits tomorrow morning and possibly go to a bigger local park on Sunday if the weather is ok.
Have a fabulous Friday x

Chased up Boots and the glasses have been ready a while. So why couldn’t the woman I spoke to Wednesday find them. Might go and pick them up tomorrow first thing.Trying really hard to concentrate on getting stuff done for work but Mr SA keeps bringing me a digital watch to set the time on it. This is him building up to wanting a new one, even though he never wears watches and this one has hardly been worn. He keeps pressing the buttons on it and ruining the settings. Aargh 😫
Took the dog on the park but it started pouring with rain so we’re back now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

This watch is fairly new plus I’ve already got his Christmas present. I’ve reset the time for him and told him to stop pressing the buttons.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Was a tad short on steps after work despite the Joe workout and the WW app one so did a Maxicise workout from You Tube. Really enjoyed it, the woman is as mad as a box of frogs but it got my steps up. Highly recommend if you want a short dance workout with a laugh thrown in.Going to pick up my VDU glasses first thing tomorrow. They said I don’t need to make an appointment so fingers crossed this information is correct. From past experience they are totally uninterested in the free glasses from work, yet must’ve signed up to the scheme and get something out of it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

I think sometime in the next few weeks if Mr SA 'loses' the watch, it might reappear when he next wants one, all polished up in a box with gift wrap...I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
