We have a Bosch washing machine and dishwasher and they have been fine. Only two years old but never had any issues with it. I think our old double freestanding Electrolux was about 12 years old and we never had issues with that either. We were quite happy with it but we changed to a built in when when our kitchen was replaced 2 years ago.
Is your oven a fan oven? Enjoy your iPad. I am eyeing up a new phone but won't pay the silly prices for iPhone 12.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1208 -
Just delurking to say that when I had my new kitchen earlier this year, the kitchen design company quoted for the Neff duo as above but I baulked at the price and ordered a belling double oven at about quarter of the price which looks really smart and I’m very pleased with it 😊8

Morning all, happy hump day 🎄
Thank you for the oven recommendations. I'm going to price a few up see roughly how much I need to save. The present oven is a fan oven and came with the kitchen. Seasidegal has the same oven and hers is exactly the same as mine, burns everything. On the plus side you can easily halve the cooking time but you can't cook anything that needs longer as it just burns it whatever temperature you put the dial on. I tried to roast a whole chicken for Mr SA and DD and it blew the fusebox and filled the kitchen with smoke. While it was still under guarantee it had 3 new fans and a new thermostat and it's still not right. My old oven was a Diplomat and lasted over 15 years, never had any trouble with it.
Made myself go out for a walk to the Mr T Express this morning and just picked up a paper so 70p spent. Getting fed up of getting out of bed, showering, having breakfast then logging on and starting work. I need some fresh air in the morning. The dog is annoying as she won't get out of bed until Mr SA does, I should really be able to take her for a walk round the streets but all she wants to do is go on the park and chase a ball.
To do list:
Spanish
Clean spare room
Exercise will be a treadmill run after work, might sneak a Joe HIIT session in too
Take the dog on the park at lunchtime
Having a portion of quorn lasagne from the freezer with some salad tonight.
I'm not panicking just yet but I haven't got a gin advent calendar this year 😢 Been saving my Mr M points up all year to pay for it and there's no sign of them online. Have seen some on Amazon but they are expensive for what they are and quite a few of the gins are gin liqueurs which I don't like as they are too sweet. The Mr M one had the right balance for a reasonable price and it was lovely to try different gins that I might not pick up a full bottle of. I suppose I could buy a couple of full sized bottles with the vouchers but it's not the same. Oh well.
Have a good day x

Hope you manage to get a gin advent calendar- I remember you enjoyed it last year. Does anywhere sell miniature bottles so that you could make your own??We had a range gas cooker which burned the bottom of everything- I have a Kenwood range now with gas hob, electric oven. It’s 3 years old and so far so good 👍 My ds has the Neff with the door that folds in as the British Bake off. He loves it as it is so much easier to use that dodging around doors from a wheelchair - but it was expensive.January spends - £587.586

Re the gin advent calendar , I saw one in B@M that looked really good, in case Morries don't have any.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

I wanted a range oven but the builders said there wouldn’t be enough room as I wanted the sink and dishwasher on the same wall.I think it works out more expensive to get the miniature bottles of gin. I like the surprise element when you don’t know what you’re getting. The nearest B&M to me is about 4 miles away and not on a bus route. Would have to weigh up whether it would be worth the walk especially if they’ve sold out when I get there. Aldi did one last year but there’s no sign of it yet and it’s December next week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I’ve just been in Morrison’s to get a meal deal and some milk. I didn’t see any gin advent calendars but there were 6 baubles in a pack with different gins for £10.January spends - £587.585

I checked the Morries website for the gin advent calendar and there was nothing there. Same with Tescos. I might have to take a trip up to B and M in our town to see if they have any left.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
