My old iPad is a mini and the new one is bigger, it’s surprising what he notices when you don’t want him to but he can never find anything in the fridge that’s right in front of him. It took me 2 months to save for it, it’s not as if I’ve bought it on a whim. My old iPad stopped updating to the latest IOS some time ago and I couldn’t use most of the apps. I can’t moan it must be 10 years old, had my money’s worth.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning all, happy December 🎄🎄
Here we are in December again, where has this year gone? Be glad to see the back of it though, what a year!
Today's doings:
*Mr M delivery coming shortly, wonder what will be missing/subbed this week
*Exercise will be a Joe workout this morning, lunchtime park run with the dog and Pilates from the WW app after work
*Trying a new WW recipe tonight - West African chickpea, potato and spinach stew
*Cleaning is living room/hall/stairs
Radio 2 are playing Christmas songs all day today. Might wear a bit thin after a while. I like listening to Christmas songs, not sure about all day though.
My iPad came with a year's free subscription to Apple TV. Has anyone else got it? Looking at it and it seems to you have to pay for most of the content, surely this can't be right as it's normally £4.99 a month? Will make a note to cancel the subscription next November as I've got enough to pay out with Virgin, Netflix and Amazon Prime TV wise.
Can open the first window in the gin advent calendar today 😁 Strictly for when I've cleared up after the evening meal and sat with my feet up watching TV though, no peeping/sampling until then.
Have a terrific Tuesday x

What a morning! I was in the middle of a work meeting when Mr SA, who had taken the dog out on his scooter, rang to say he'd broken down and could I go and pick the dog up. Had to apologise to my colleagues and go out to investigate. Anyway he'd got the scooter going again, it had just cut out not broken down, so my assistance was no longer required. Missed a chunk of the meeting though and I was taking the minutes!
Loads of things missing/subbed on the Mr M order, have sent back most of the subs so will have to do a Mr T shop later in the week. Seriously thinking of trying another store after Christmas.
Took the dog for a good run on the park at lunchtime and have done a Joe Wicks workout. Mr SA has been pottering around in the greenhouse/garden as it's been a lovely day. The dog has enjoyed running about following him.
Finance wise £250 has gone into my Regular Saver today.

I suppose that's the modern equivalent of someone setting the fire alarm off mid-meeting? At least the scooter is still working... and the dog has had lots of exercise.
It's been beautiful running weather here: sunny but not hot. My app thought I was on the Park Run at one point which has made me think of joining in once it starts again.
That's a really nice contribution to your savings account, well done.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I’ve got a standing order for £250 to go out every month and it goes into an account I can’t touch until the 12 months is up. Decent amount of interest compared to a lot at the moment.Aside from playing Christmas songs all day, Radio 2 started a house party at 5pm, playing dance music. I’m trying to eat my dinner and all I want to do is dance 💃 And no I haven’t opened the gin yet 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

😱 to Mr SA breaking down. I’m intrigued what you’d have done had it not started again....pushed it home ?😳 with him in it 😳😳😳😳
Enjoy the gin when you open it 🍻January spends - £587.586
