Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Bit late getting online today as Virgin Media was down, TV and broadband until around 9.30. To be fair they send us a letter warning of upgrading in the area so potential loss of services today. Broadband seems a bit faster, hopefully that will last.
Went for a run this morning before it got too hot, feeling a bit more positive today thankfully.
Budget week 3 starts today, need to tot up last week's finances, I know there's a very small underspend.
Have a fabulous day x

Have done the finances. Had a £7.75 underspend in the groceries budget so this has gone to the VSP. There was £34.51 left in the other spends budget so £4.51 has gone to VSP and £30 back into the spends pot. Have sent £50 to my emergency fund. Received £40 refund from the airport lounge, cancelled due to lack of passengers, and this has gone back into the holiday pot.
Earlier on I spotted Mr SA shuffling about in the garden looking shifty. Went to investigate and he had started covering up my little cobbled paved area under the tree with the ugly grey paving slabs that's he's been hoarding down the side of the shed for years. This is a lovely little area where I sit to get some shade when it's hot, I have a little table and chair there and it's lovely and quiet under the tree. Well I went ballistic and made him restore it to how it was before. He does some really weird things, I don't know what he was thinking of. He has an obsession with moving things about in the garden and never for the best!

I would have been fuming, too. Your little cobblestone area sounds lovely and I'm sure it's easier on the eyes than plain paving slabs. (Now I want one! It would be lovely under the trees at the back...I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

SlimmingWorld do the Pimms - I’ve never made it but have tasted it at group. I found it quite acceptable but not the real thing.
Your walk sounded lovely.I’m not surprised you feel a tad down - our world has changed. No company at work - everything up in the air re the holiday. And the blooming virus is just hanging over us...it feels never ending.January spends - £587.586
