Another here who absolutely agrees with you and beanie in that you need a break. Even if it means telling a few porkies in that you've been called into work a few mornings or afternoons - it will do you good. Take up your friend's offer anyway of a catch up in her garden even if your holiday isn't cancelled. Are there some nice places you can get to for a few hours via public transport? Just take some masks and go!xFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I agree whole heartedly that you need a break as well . We are doing walking team meetings at the minute, could you suggest this to a couple of colleagues and meet up somewhere local for a walk and talk?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.8

Does your big Mr T not have a post box inside? Mine does near customer services. We all need a break sometimes & the bigger your caring responsibilities are the more of a break you need. I do hope you get one soon - you deserve it!7

I'd take your friend up on the offer of meeting in her garden - and see if you can book it maybe every few weeks! It will make all the difference.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning 😎
Thank you all for your kind comments, it's much appreciated 💕
I woke up at 3am then couldn't get back to sleep, was going to get up and read at 4am but fell asleep and didn't wake up until 6.45. So no run this morning as need to leave early on Wednesday to avoid the bin men. So after breakfast I went out to post the card and pick a paper up and walked a long way round. Got back home and Mr SA and the dog have gone out, no doubt looking for me! This is what I mean I just can't get away I feel so trapped I hate it. I feel like sticking a nail in his scooter tyres.
Sunshine Girl a team mate suggested a team meet up in a city centre pub garden but our team leader doesn't think it's a good idea because of where we work. None of my team live locally unfortunately.
It wasn't so bad when we were in lockdown when no one could go anywhere but now people are getting out and about I feel like I'm stuck in lockdown.
Anyway must get some work done, have a good day x

Are there any of the FB group meetings you mentioned a while ago happening. I know you said you would miss some due to your holiday. Could work call ‘ occasional meetings’ as an excuse to get away from Mr SA for a short time and meet up somewhere in a garden or go for a walk with somebody from the group. It must be very challenging to be tied to the house as you are. Don’t know how you do it👏January spends - £587.586
