I have been known to come out in hives after eating strawberries

Mr SA has discovered a lump in his side  This has appeared since his fall in the pond a few weeks ago. Not sure if it’s all connected.

Why is there always something to spoil everything?

It could be connected - could it be a hernia? At least he's said, rather than pretending it's not there, so he can get it looked at.

Have you ever made 'freezer jam' with strawberries? It's gorgeous and a good way of using them up.

One of my friends fell down the stairs and she had a lump come up, I can’t remember the terminology but it was normal after a fall.

I’ve never made freezer jam, might have to look it up, thanks for the tip :)

  • I believe a haematoma can be felt as a lump after a fall Xx

    Dear SA,

Hopefully OH lump is the result of the fall, we forget that often there can be symptoms that go on for weeks as a result... that’s the thing with long term health conditions you need to be always dealing with the next thing.......hugs

Late to the party but great news about the interview,
  • Sorry to but in SA but I do lurk on here. Maybe the lump is a haematoma from the fall. Have a google, he should probably get it checked out though.

Hope Mr SAS limp is ‘just’ his fall. The meal plan sounds delicious as usual. I’m really impressed you stick to it. I never can.
Why not freeze the strawberries separated on a baking tray or similar. Then once frozen bag them up for on yoghurt or porridge. The freezer jam already mentioned sounds fascinating though.
