Apparently she could’ve lost her sight had it not been caught early. DS has been so worried as he thought it might be a tumour and he lost his grandma (my mum) and then almost his dad to brain tumours. She has to have a lumbar puncture tomorrow to relieve the pressure then can go home.Of course this means Christmas Eve plans might have to be scrapped. We do have a plan B though in case of unexpected illness which is to go to the pub for lunch.Hopefully will have some better news tomorrow 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Thankfully she’s going to be ok but will need regular monitoring. Just glad it was spotted early before permanent damage was done. DS did say the name of the condition but I can’t remember what it’s called.I don’t know what it is with brains and my family- my mum, Mr SA, DD with her epilepsy and now DIL 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Just popped in to say sorry about your DD thankfully it was spotted in time3

Thank goodness for an early diagnosis. But you & DS must be devastated with knowing possible outcomes. I hope both of you are also keeping a close eye on your own brain health & with your GKS too.

All I can say is please never ever ignore a headache that doesn’t go away. Personally I never get headaches so would know straightaway if something was wrong if I started to get them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
