Vets trip done thank goodness. She was muzzled and just wouldn't hold still although wasn't bothered about the injection! The vet examined her legs, although the dog complained, the vet couldn't feel anything wrong with them, she thinks it's just her age and a bit of Arthritis. The upshot is I've got 2 weeks supply of anti-inflammatory tablets to try her with - £26 for 2 weeks supply 😬

Mr SA got his coffee and sausage roll although he managed so spill most of the coffee down himself! I got my trip to B&M and managed to spend £41 on assorted tat!

Left the house at 10am and didn't get back until 1.30, feel like I've been walking for hours, almost 17k steps done in one go. I'm very thankful my job is flexible and allows me to take time out/WFH so I can do this without having to take the day off, although part of me wishes I had as it's so warm and sunny outside I'd love to be sitting out in it with my book.

That's nearly £2 a day! Still, if it helps her, it will be money well spent.

In money related news I've had my monthly statement from Octopus and am now £429.69 in credit. All of today's spends have been logged on my spreadsheet and various pots updated to reflect this.

Mr SA has set up the new pond pump/filter and it works! He's trying to change it from fountain to waterfall setting as we prefer that. I've left him to it 😬

Just checking if they have given your dog Metacam SA? If they have, watch for D&V and stop it straight away if that happens. None of my dogs can tolerate it and it caused long term kidney damage to a friends dog 😟

No it’s Onsior. I did ask if it would cause any problems with liver/kidneys and the vet said no. The box does state stop giving if any D&V.

Or Meloxodil which is basically the same. We have one that can take it and one that cant.

    Happy Friday eve.

Have been in the office this morning and am just finishing my day at home.

Nipped into Lidl on the way, couldn't get everything on my list which was annoying. Mr SA told me to phone him when I set off for work so he could meet me and put the bags on his scooter. I phoned him - no response! So I had to walk up a very long hill with a heavy shopping bag on my shoulder and my heavy rucksack with work gear on my back. It was hard going!

I bought a pack of 10 Lidl own brand 'monster munch' for Mr SA and there are actually 13 bags in the pack 😆

The pond pump is now up and running with a waterfall instead of a fountain.

Exercise is 20,000 steps - just 2,500 to go plus will do a yoga or stretching session after work (really need this). I'm watching a live WW cook-along at 6pm but not cooking along with them. Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole with lots of veg.

Mr SA very kindly got the washing in for me but put the dry washing on top of some wet washing there wasn't room on the line for that I was planning to hang out when I got home!
