The carpet is being fitted Tuesday morning 🥳 He will take up and dispose of the old one for free as he’s a neighbour. I love the smell of new carpet too and this is the only carpet we have all the other rooms are hard flooring.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Your totals are very impressive.
and the new carpet sounds great…I love a springy new carpet. Sadly I expect my cats pee on mine even faster than mr SA can 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning all, happy hump day.
WFH again today.
One of the cats pooped in the living room hearth overnight. I ask Mr SA to close the door when he comes to bed but he never does which is really annoying 😒
A big portion of today will be taken up with the dog's annual check up and booster at the vets. The vets is an hour's walk each way. I dread taking the dog to the vets as she has to wear a muzzle because she snaps at the vet and struggles the whole time she's there. I need to mention the limping after sitting for long periods of time too (mind you I'm the same these days if I sit too long!). I must remember to pick up the young cat's flea/worm treatment too.
Mr SA is looking forward to his Greggs sausage roll and coffee afterwards! My treat will be I get to go in B&M 😁
Today's step goal will be over 20,000 with the walking plus FitSteps at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of cauliflower pilaf from freezer stocks. Lunch will be leftover lentil stew from yesterday.

Our dog goes the other way when we go to the vets and goes all jelly legs2

Our little dog just trembles and her heart rate shoots up - not good in a dog with mitral valve disease. The Collie takes it in his stride as long as they dont hurt him. When being examined for his arthritis I just constantly feed him treats and he tolerates the pain. They did ask if they could muzzle him but I explained he could take it off faster than they could put it on so treats are the answer.

I hope the vet trip is uneventful - and perhaps they will suggest something for your stiffness on getting up, too! If they do, post it on here please, there's a queue of people wanting to know!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
