A bit late but happy Friday 🥂
Still keep laughing at the young bloke in Zante, people were asking for photos and updates 🤣🤣
Was in the office today, did a couple of hours then went to Mr S. Back to work until 2.30 then called it a day. So almost did a full week bar around an hour. I bought a couple of plain T-shirts from Mr S. Fed up of the stretchy ones from M&S that show every bit of your bra despite me only wearing T-shirt bras 👎
Today’s Mr SA related disaster was he found a dead bird in the greenhouse that had apparently knocked over the tub containing the lettuce. So now I have no lettuce 😕 No point sowing more as we are away in 2 weeks. As this tub was quite heavy wondering how a bird could’ve knocked it over 🤔DD has been unwell the past few days Covid type symptoms but testing negative. I must admit I don’t feel 100%, have a slight sore throat and feel really tired. Hopefully won’t amount to anything.
Step count for today is 26,000. Tonight’s dinner was seeded cod with sweet potato wedges and loads of veg. Need to start running down fresh stocks now on the run up to the holiday.Feet up with a glass of red now but it won’t be a late night that’s for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Just seen an update from the Zante lad, apparently he’s awake and from Holland, first lads holiday 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

My DD went to Turkey for a 2 week holiday, several years ago now, she ended up staying for 3 months and I had to get her a very expensive flight home via Istanbul, the least said the better 😬 At least she didn’t come back married to a Turkish waiter as her friend did. 4 kids later and they are divorced. There for the grace of God …I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning, happy Saturday 🥂
Plans for today include ClubFit followed by local shops then back home to give the house a good clean before chilling on my hanging chair. The dog will get a couple of runs on the park providing it doesn’t get too hot for her. Need to do some garden tidying too, the greenhouse is a mess after yesterday’s shenanigans, soil all over the floor. It’s so frustrating that Mr SA is home all day and doesn’t do anything to help just creates a mess. I know he’s very limited to what he can do but he could do a little something or just not make a mess would be a start!
Yesterday decluttered a large bag of clothes/shoes to CS, still need to sort out more, I need to be ruthless, there’s a lot I don’t wear.Hoping to go to a local festival by the river tomorrow so want to get as much done today as possible.Tonight is pizza night - rose cava already in the fridge 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Do you have giant birds in your part of the country?2

We never made it to the River Festival in all the years we had the boat 🤔
Never saw any of the super strong "proper birds" either 🤣🤣🤣
Mr SA does make me chuckle!2 -
Do you think a sea eagle may have got lost and popped in to ask him the way home? They do tend to be a bit clumsy when it comes to turning, and would also be classed as a proper birdCredit card debt - NIL
Home improvement secured loans 30,130/41,000 and 23,156/28,000 End 2027 and 2029
Mortgage 64,513/100,000 End Nov 2035
2022 all rolling into new mortgage + extra to finish house. 125,000 End 20363 -
A "proper bird" has a different meaning to me, as in a woman who is fit and attractive! Highly sexist I know but I did think you'd a female visitor who had somehow ruined your pots!
Nevertheless she persisted.5
