£20 through the insurance is definitely better than getting the phone repaired.
Have a lovely weekend and keep Mr SA away from pools and potholes.

Poor Mr SA certainly had an ordeal. Was he hurt? Any injury’s to  him or damages to the scooter put in a claim. That’s why they have insurance to cover incidents like this.

Hope you have a nice day with the kids.

That's a shame about the phone.

We have had waterproof phones for a while now after the other half had a spate of falling off the boat with them in his pocket. He had 3 one year 🙈

Funnily enough when we switched to waterproof he stopped falling in 🤣🤣🤣

My current phone did have a dunking courtesy of the dog a few days after got it. We had the hoods off the boat and it was on the cockpit table on charge. The dog caught the cable and sent it flying into the water 😕

The other half was straight in the water to retrieve it.

Rinsed it off and it was fine. Still works now 2 years later.

Morning, happy Sunday, last day of July already, where’s that gone 😱

Raining at the moment, no sitting in my chair with a coffee this morning.

Mr SA’s new phone is arriving between 11 and 12, another job for me setting it up. It’s android which I’m not familiar with but I’ll still have to sort it out for him.

Hoping to have a very productive day apart from the phone. To do:

Meal plan using stocks already in and what needs using up, need a cheap grocery week next week to get the budget back on track.
    Clean the whole house.
Empty laundry basket if it stops raining.
Take dog on park x 2
    Spanish lessons x 10
    Manicure
Yoga session plus minimum of 15k steps
Finish reading my book, currently reading I do not sleep by Judy Finnegan, it’s really good, got a supernatural vibe to it, set in Cornwall.
Long soak in the bath with a face pack

Tonight’s dinner is nut roast from freezer stocks with roast beetroot, Cornish new potatoes and lots of veg. Steak for Mr SA.

And finally, today will be NSD 12/12 for July and my last month with a set target, going free range from tomorrow thank goodness.

@Cherryfudge here is the recipe for the Spanish style stew.https://www.weightwatchers.com/uk/recipe/spanish-style-butterbean-stew/5e3433d9cbc89502256f8501
I used Linda McCartney vegetarian chorizo and red pepper sausages instead of chorizo, cooked them first and sliced them up. You can replace the sherry vinegar for red wine vinegar.

Just wanted to say thank you again for the recipe - we had it for dinner today and it's very good!
