The what time are you coming home phone calls from Mr SA have already started 😐 Also one of the cats peed on the new floor and he wanted me to come home and clear it up. Told him to get some kitchen roll and sort it out himself.

Oh no 😢.is it really easier to make the phone call to report the wee than it is to mop it up? Poor you 😖

I ended up spending after all as I picked up some wood stain for the pallet and to redo the bench I painted last year that faded. Also picked up some more seeds. Got 10% off as Wilko have a gardening event on. Passed Lidl on the way home and bought a hanging basket, used the £2 off voucher so cost me £3.99. 

Done just over 21,000 steps so happy with that.

I don’t keep my cool most of the time to be honest. I tell him off a lot. I reckon I must’ve been very bad in a past life and Mr SA is my penance 😆

The living room still isn’t done. The builder is coming tomorrow plus a sparky to replace the sockets. The floor is down but needs finishing touches, the window seat is still to be constructed, architraves, skirting boards and doors still to go up. The painter still hasn’t responded so wonder if he’s away. 

Had to put off DS and the GKs coming tomorrow as we’re still in a state of upheaval and we’ll have workmen here.

Happy Saturday 🥂

I’ve been to the big Mr T this morning. Might have to go back later as I forgot the main thing I went for, think I bought everything but 😆 They’ve got 25% off all clothes so I picked up a T-shirt and shorts for Mr SA for holiday.  I couldn’t see anything for me - our local store only has a small selection of clothes. They had some pretty patterned dresses but they were all voluminous and would swamp me. I don’t know why all clothes seem to be like tents at the moment. So I bought myself a bottle of pink gin instead 🤣

I stopped off at Iceland on the way back and have finally found some lightly dusted yellowfin sole 2 for £5, which is more expensive than Lidl/Aldi but they don’t have them at the moment and they are so handy to have in stock for something quick. 

The builder is just making the window seat, there’s not that much left to do now. Shame it’s not being painted next week as we could move back in it by next weekend. I wish I was good at painting but I’m hopeless at manual things, I was born to work in an office.

Forgot to say we received a letter yesterday saying we’re in an avian flu hotspot and have to report it if we find any dead birds. The house next door but one keep chickens so they’ll have to be careful with them.
