I’m here again. Mr SA has rediscovered a floppy hat he had stashed in his wardrobe and all I can think about is he looks like an extra from Kevin and Perry Go Large 🤣

🤣 My nickname has been Kevin for about 25 years now. My mum started it and then 2 workplaces called me it (independently of each other!). 🤣

    Morning, happy Tuesday.

Just waiting for the Mr M delivery to arrive, no missing items or subs. They've asked me to trial their new app before it goes out for general release, not had chance to look at it yet. Nothing wrong with the old app to be honest, it's very user friendly.

The builder will be here about 8-ish.

WFH again, got a long meeting later this morning but should have a fairly quiet afternoon (famous last words).

Today's exercise is dog walking, bums and tums (if the meeting finishes on time) and resistance band training later. Supposed to be going to a friends of the park across the road meeting tonight but I'm not sure I can be bothered, I'll see how I feel nearer the time, it's only for an hour at the pub at the end of my road.

😂 SA, it must be due to how enthusiastic and energetic I am at work! 😆 I still go into "Kevin" mode now when I get annoyed, shoulders slump, arms drop and a lot of "BUT WHY??? I DON'T WANT TO" etc, I probably should have grown out of that by almost 40. 😂

    Morning, happy hump day.

Today should be NSD 8/10, creeping to target slowly.

My hanging egg chair is arriving this morning 😁 I need to sort out the area for it and make it nice and relaxing. The builder has put a pallet in the skip and I'm wondering if I could paint it and put some planters on it and a buddha and make it a sort of raised zen area.

WFH again today. I went for a long walk this morning after breakfast rather than just log on. I did 8k steps and feel so much better for it. Will be walking the dog at some stage and then it's FitSteps at 6pm.

I've just received my monthly statement from the tentacled provider and my dd still hasn't gone up. Still £102 in credit but suspect that may get eaten up this month. I'm trying to use less gas and electricity but there is someone home all day in our house and the boiler is still using gas for hot water even though the heating isn't on. It's difficult.

I need to sort out the freezer again as it's got a bit messy since we came back from holiday. I keep forgetting to update my list of what's in it.

Now there's a point, @Sun_Addict. Our monthly statement from the Tentacled Ones usually lands in my inbox on 21st of the month & I haven't received it. I will keep checking today. It makes me wonder if we're in the next tranche of people to be receiving increased DDs, but I think this would be a bit difficult for them to justify while our credit is still high & we still have the £200 loan payment to arrive in the Autumn. I think it will defo need re-assessing then, as I don't want to fall behind.
Our neighbours have recently made a couple of big wooden planters from pallet wood. They've painted them & they look really nice, planted up with multi-coloured flowering perennials. Our builders asked if I wanted the pallets from all the building supplies & I did think about it as they were in good clean condition. In the end, I said no, because the garden already takes a lot of my time at this time of year, & Mr F really needs to be getting on with finishing the shed renovations, including external painting & fitting new water butts. He doesn't have all that much free time with a full time job, which sometimes includes weekend atm due to significant staffing shortages, & a 52 mile-a-day round trip commute also eats up time especially as our end of it involves a deal of sitting in traffic queues. I know there'll be a time though when I see a fab pallet-upcycling project in a magazine & wish I'd said 'yes' to keeping them!
