I'm glad you got the egg chair - you need somewhere to sit while your living room is being done.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning happy Sunday.
Up early as there is so much to do today and Mr SA will be no help whatsoever. DS is going to try and get to help move the sofa, if he can’t we’ll have to wait for DD to get back from work. Not looking forward to the upheaval and the dust but it will be so worth it for a few days disruption. I’m going to try and store as much stuff as I can in the spare room but the sofa and console table are too big and heavy to take upstairs and will have to go in the dining room.I don’t regret getting the hanging chair. I’ve been thinking about getting something to go on the small paved area at the back of the pond for ages. Ideally I would’ve loved a small summer house but I know Mr SA would be constantly in it and I want something that’s just for me to get away from him for a bit. I’m hoping he won’t fall into the chair and break it! A few years ago I bought a solar powered water feature from QVC, it wasn’t cheap at £200 but it was lovely, so relaxing. He fell on it and smashed it 😩I need to do a meal plan for next week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
The egg chair will be a lovely place to read SA , hopefully in peace. Good luck with the furniture moving today and I hope you get help with the heavy stuff .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Another one here, hoping with fingers crossed, that Mr SA doesn’t break the egg chair….3

The chair sounds lovely, I do hope you get to keep it just for you and MrSA doesn’t try and sit in it!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Having a right ordeal trying to get the sofa out. It’s too big and heavy. DS can’t get so waiting to see if DD can shift it when she gets back from work. We can’t get the TV off the wall either 😩 If DD can’t do it then we’ll have to ask the builder tomorrow. Mr SA has got no strength whatsoever so isn’t helping.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Don't take any risks moving the sofa - a friend did something similar and is in her third month of injury time.
If necessary could it go in the middle of the room with a dust sheet over?

I second the no risks, my back still is not right after the fish tank debacle!
Does the sofa come apart at all?
Ours definitely went together when they delivered it.Nevertheless she persisted.4
