Due to go to Spain in 2 weeks, DH said he won’t relax until we are sat on the bus going to the hotel. Between queues at the airport and now flights being cancelled, it’s a stressful time, not the excitement we used to feel before going away.x
Fingers crossed it’s ok for you. We had no problems apart from the airport lounge being closed and a lot of the cafes due to being short staffed. You’re not travelling in school holidays so hopefully you’ll be fine 🤞

Talk about a small world. I was reading a comment on the FB page of the small hotel we’re going to in Zante. Realised it was from someone I work with and chat to at the tea point.

    That’s Monday done.

Have been in the office today. Left just after lunch and finished my day at home. Took me ages to get out of the city centre as a certain football team and their fans were celebrating. Absolutely rammed with people, great atmosphere though.

We’ve got our very big chiefs visiting the new office in a couple of weeks and I’ve been invited to meet them and talk about the voluntary lead role I’ve just taken on. No pressure there 😱

I hit my target of 10/10 NSDs for May 🥳 Not bad to say I was on holiday for the first 8 days of the month.

And I’ve finally heard from the painter. As I suspected he’s been on holiday. He can start next Wednesday.

As Beanie says - you're flying high! Both work-wise and with the NSDs. And I'm glad the painter can start soon.

I’ve also asked the painter to do the hall and landing as a new carpet is needed desperately and it might as well get refreshed beforehand. No idea what to do about the landing carpet as it’s very badly stained from Mr SA’s accidents. I’ve tried everything and can’t get the stains out 😩 Wondering if I can have the landing vinyl and just the stairs carpeted, would be so much easier for me cleaning wise.

Today’s exercise was just over 20,000 steps to/from work and a live strength training class. Tonight’s dinner was butternut squash dhal with cauliflower rice, one of my old favourites.
