Clothes are rather floaty at the moment aren’t they? There is so much more choice on line, but then you can’t try anything on. I forgot some essentials from Lidl today, but we’ll just have to manage without!

The builder finished just after 3pm. He’s done a brilliant job. Just need to get someone to paint it now.

Oh dear. I thought the avian flu incidents were decreasing as chickens are allowed out again 😳
Bet Mr SA was happy with his new clothes.

    Morning happy Sunday 😎

    It will be NSD 9/10.

Going to paint the pallet and put up the hanging chair today. Also need to do a meal plan and finalise Tuesday’s Mr M order. Very tempted to order a month’s worth of non perishables as family discount is 20% this week. Would be a great saving.

Started the day early as Mr SA announced I’d need to mop the bathroom floor at 6am 😩

Not heard from the painter yet. I’ll try ringing him tomorrow in case he hasn’t seen the message. I’ll have to try someone else if no joy. I’d attempt it myself but Mr SA would want to help, stumble about, spill paint and generally get in the way. Ideally I’d like it done professionally.

Need to have a bit of a clean round and take the dog on the park.

Having roast salmon with steamed baby potatoes and veg for tonight’s dinner.

12 weeks tomorrow until we go to Zante so it’s officially bikini boot camp time.

Bulk buying the non perishables seems like a really sensible idea (at the very least the wine 😁)
    just 12 weeks 😮 🏖

Decided against putting up the hanging chair and painting the pallet today as the weather forecast is rain tomorrow and Tuesday. Much cooler today than yesterday but breezy so a great drying day, washing is out.

Took the dog on the park earlier for a run. The little devil got in the stream and was filthy. She had to go straight in the bath. Filled a large bag with litter yet again. You can guess the age group of the litter louts by the type of litter - crisp bags, fizzy pop bottles/cans, sweet wrappers. Little barstewards 🤬
It's McDonald's wrappers they chuck on the floor here. 😡

Ended up doing a job not on the list but worthwhile while the skip is still here. I chopped off lots of  branches from the conifers at the bottom of the garden between us and next door. I didn’t want to go too mad as we still want the privacy but the fence is pretty high so the trees don’t need to be tall. It looks a lot better and it’s a lot lighter down that end now. I do love my tree knife, one of my better purchases last summer. Skip is full now.

Due to go to Spain in 2 weeks, DH said he won’t relax until we are sat on the bus going to the hotel. Between queues at the airport and now flights being cancelled, it’s a stressful time, not the excitement we used to feel before going away.x
