Mr SA also does the open the fridge door and stare into it thing 😩 I think it’s a throwback from when they were young and hungry seeing what’s available to eat. My DS still looks in my fridge when he visits 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

My DS looked in my fridge yesterday!

My OH waits until I've gone to bed to have a good fridge stare sometimes - I can hear him. If I ask what he had or wanted he often denies it. I actually thinks its habit and so not lying and just doesn't remember. My sons do it all the time too. I sometimes go and stand next to them and stare too.
My rule for heating is '2 layers' before you moan. We always have it warmish anyway but I have been nudging the temp down to see how we get on.
I'm sorry Mr SA is being more hard work than usual - I wonder if there's a bit of infection somewhere with his bowels and being in his own world. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon.4 -
Back home again now after being in the office this morning.
Hit my target of 12/12 NSDs for March today. I need to look at finances to make sure everything is ticking along. Payday on Thursday.
Mr SA has had his blood pressure checked at the doctors and it's too high. They gave him a monitor and he has to take his own blood pressure twice a day and write it down. He's also been told to exercise more which won't be easy given that he's disabled but I suppose swimming would be good.
Exercise is walking to and from work, on 16,000 so far today. Live WW HIIT class later which is sadly the last one, although it will be replaced with another class to be confirmed.
I've taken a portion of veggie gumbo from the freezer for tonight's dinner.

Will MrSA manage taking his own blood pressure and writing it down ok? It always seems like they don’t take the person into consideration when they request these things.

🤣 MrWW enjoys tablets too! He always likes to announce the taking of them, if he’s forgotten to fill his little daily pots, how many he has left, etc. 🙄Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning all
WFH today but will be taking the kitten to the vet for spaying later. Fingers crossed it goes ahead this time.
Mr M delivery has arrived and been put away. No missing items or subs. What with the shopping, taxis and the vet's bill it will be a very spendy day today. Might even pop in B&M when I've dropped the kitten off. Taxi to the vets, walk back, walk to the vets and taxi back. It's around an hour's walk to/from the vets so plenty of steps being done today. Hoping to fit in the live Bums & Tums at lunchtime, doubt I'll make it back in time for the 5pm resistance band training session, it will depend on what time I can pick kitten up.
I've overspent on a couple of my budget pots this month but will make up the shortfall from the underspend on the others. New budget period starts next Monday.
I'm going to make a fish pie with root veg mash for my dinner tonight. Home made leek and potato soup for lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I like the sound of the pie and root veg mash 😋
I hope all goes well with the kitten. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Kitten dropped off and presumably undergoing her surgery as they said mid-morning. She's not going to be a happy bunny when I pick her up.
Mr SA took his blood pressure with my assistance this morning, it was 193/100 😮 The whole day is revolving around him going swimming at 12 and he hasn't even taken the dog out yet. His swimming bag is packed and by the door. The scooter place have just turned up to service his scooter and he's stressing about them not being finished by 12!
Had a quick look round B&M and picked up a few things. Finally found a lightweight wok, been looking for one for ages, mine is so heavy I can hardly pick it up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
