    Happy Saturday 🥂

I’ve been busy today, a live WW Club Fit class this morning then went to the big Mr T and S@vers. Then a quick lunch and tidy round before DS and the GKs came. DIL did my nails, red glitter, she’s done a great job.

Just sitting chilling for a bit listening to Rylan and his mum on the radio and reading my book.

Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger, sweet potato wedges and salad 😋Prosecco has been chilling in the fridge all day 🍾

Totally forgot about the clocks going forward so am running late today. I hate losing this hour it throws me out for days.

It will be NSD 11/12 today.

The kitten was sick in the window during the night and the bedroom curtains were touching it so they’ll have to come down for washing. Mr SA split coffee everywhere in the kitchen on the floor and worktop. Not the best start to the day.

I’ve opened my Mother’s Day cards from DS and DD. I got a bottle of wine and some flowers from them. It made me smile yesterday seeing the teenage lads in Mr T en masse buying identical flowers and chocolates. It reminded me of when DS and his mates used to all go together and buy the same thing. One year there was a good deal on champagne and DS and his mates were all really pleased with themselves thinking that would score them a few brownie points 😆

I’ve put a colour on my hair this morning and am devising next week’s meal plan. It will be based on what I’ve got in stock to use up.

Will need to take the dog out at some stage, not going far as I want to do some garden tidying. Also need to make a start on sorting out the holiday stuff as there are only 4 weeks to go now 😱 Still need to download the NHS app for the vaccination status which is still needed for Spain at the moment I believe. Mr SA wants me to sort out his swimming shorts for Tuesday, no idea where they are.

Making salmon with za’atar for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA is having steak in pepper sauce.

Can you sponge out the sick on the bottom of the curtains? It would save a big job and I would mark it as a tick for environmentally friendly 🤣
    Have a great day.

Mr SA is being really annoying tonight sat there in his shorts and T-shirt moaning he’s cold and can I put the heating on for him. I’ve got my dressing gown on and am fine. The heating is set to come on if the temperature drops below 18. It’s not on because it’s not cold enough. It really annoys me he won’t wear a dressing gown and just wants to sit in shorts and T-shirt all year round then moans he’s cold 🤬

I’m in the office tomorrow then WFH Tuesday and Wednesday, in the office Thursday then on leave Friday for the funeral followed by a retirement do. I’m enjoying the walk to and from work to be honest, I’ve missed it. Also enjoying the interaction with colleagues.

My OH did the same earlier - shorts, t shirt and bare feet - apparently it was very cold in here 🤦‍♀️.  The other thing he does is open the fridge and stare into it ..... the other day he had the fridge and freezer door both open and was staring from one to the other.  I'm trying to keep energy use down as I've got some credit on the account.  He is usually quite thrifty so can't complain too much.
