Things can only get better

The kitten has finally been spayed 🥳 She’s feeling a bit sorry for herself and moping around in the collar making it look really heavy and trying her best to get it off but eating and drinking well.

Mr SA went swimming although he had to be rescued by the lifeguards twice. Unfortunately his brother wasn’t there to keep an eye on him.

The live Bums &Tums and Resistance Band sessions were cancelled as the instructor is poorly. She wasn’t well on Saturday when she did the Club Fit class so not surprised. I’ve done almost 20k steps so had plenty of exercise today. 

Sent a donation in lieu of flowers in memory of my friend whose funeral I’m going to on Friday. The collection is well on its way to reaching £1000. 

Mr SA has finally taken the dog out so it’s nice and peaceful right now.

I am currently on a ridiculous amount of tablets - 9 different things. I am a work in progress though and should hopefully have some removed soon, the non-working ones anyway. Thank goodness for the pre-payment certificate!

I hate it though, seeing all the boxes stacked up. It reminds of grandparents when daily tablet taking was such a production and always in full view. I keep mine stashed and and pop as I need them and hope its not forever. It makes me feel old before my time. At least I have a consultant who is working hard to get to the bottom of things after long years of mystery misery.

He was supposed to be but guess what Mr SA doesn’t have his phone number to check 🙄 Should’ve checked that beforehand, he could be poorly or anything. Mr SA used to be a really good swimmer and the brain damage has totally scuppered that, he says he can’t remember how to swim.

This makes me so angry 😡 DD’s friend who she got the kitten from, her cat (mother of the kitten) disappeared for a few weeks then reappeared with a kitten in her mouth. This is apparently the 4th lot of kittens this cat has had. DD has told her friend off for being so irresponsible and the friend has said she’ll finally get her cat spayed. Now DD is worrying because her friend is going to advertise this kitten on Gumtree 😢 This is the friend who went on holiday with DD to Turkey and came back with a waiter who she married, had 4 kids with and is now divorced.

Hopefully not. It’s always me who ends up looking after and paying for DD’s “rescues”.

I think I would be suggesting DD found a friend who made better choices.  Except none of us would actually do that even if we thought it.  Yet another kitten ......!
