Things can only get better

Not feeling festive at this year, doesn’t help with the thought of a lockdown over Xmas happening. We are going to DS2 for Xmas day, lives the other side of the village. We are all taking something for the meal, I’m taking a one of the turkeys( as we need 2) and a dessert. To be honest if we do go into lockdown I have all the food in for a Xmas meal so at least there’s no worries there. I’m at the stage where I will be glad when it’s over, Xmas decs are down and life returns to as normal as it can be. Always love the run up to Xmas but when it’s here I’m glad when it’s over.xx

I just wish they’d hurry up and make their minds up what they’re doing. I hate all the uncertainty. Doesn’t bode well when all the devolved governments are getting together as they don’t usually do anything collectively.

On the plus side I did some ironing this morning and while the ironing board was out I decided to use it as a present wrapping station. So I can declare most of them wrapped now 🥳

Aah, sorry to hear bout the zip 😡 He just needs to develop a love of Velcro. 

Or what about one of those that go over your head like a hoody, but waterproof?

The dog got into the bath after me, she was very dirty after this morning’s walk. She’s drying off now 😆
