On the non vaccinated DD’s co-workers front, the bloke who gave her Covid has permanent lung damage and is now moaning he is unable to get his vaccine yet. The protester one’s husband is in a coma in hospital (also unvaccinated).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

One of my DS’s works in the Covid ICU at our local hospital, said they were busy again and all beds full. Someone I know has had a severe reaction to the Covid jab and ended up in hospital, but still is adamant that people have the jabs. I do know a couple of anti vac people all of them are young people who are convinced it’s all a conspiracy.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.003

Its a pity that people dont listen to what they are told by scientists but would rather believe charlatans who profess to be scientists. I think I have siaid before we threw an anti vaccer "friend" out of the house last year when he came spouting rubbish at us.Today I heard of an 80year old who is refusing the vaccination the grounds she doesnt care if she dies. Fine for her but no thought for the carers who visit her 4 times a day, a son and daughter who are both classed as vulnerable not to mention the space and time she may take in hospital that means others cant get the treatment they need as well as possibly spreading it to the hospital staff. Can you tell I am annoyed by the attitude?6

Happy Monday, Christmas week is upon us 🎄🎄
I don't finish work until Thursday, wish I'd booked this week off tbh. On leave tomorrow for the funeral unless we get locked down. Not going to buy my train tickets until tonight to be on the safe side, I can pick up some flowers from M&S on the way to the station.
What a mess everything is at the moment, it's like the advent calendar from hell. Every day a new door opens with more bad news.
Fingers crossed it won't be too busy this week work-wise, a lot of people have finished for Christmas now. Hoping to tick a few jobs off my work to do list.
Today's tasks:
Clean kitchen
Send Mr SA's coat back
15,000 steps minimum
Meal plan for the week
Short HIIT workout
Yoga/Pilates wind down after work
Dog walking at lunchtime
Write out tags for presents before I forget what's for who
Book train tickets for tomorrow
Ironing
Mr SA's zip problem is that when he's got his coat on it opens from the bottom. No idea why this keeps happening, it must be something he's doing wrong it never happens to my zips. He's an absolute nightmare.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Hi SA - Ive really enjoyed reading your diary - I was wondering if you could give me some WFH tips? I have always 'gone out' to work - even all throughout the pandemic but I will start a new job in late January which is 100% WFH which is the dream. I like my own company and don't need that office environment, so I don't foresee any issues but you seem to have a lovely balance so hoping to pick up some tips.
Have a lovely Christmas x5
