    Great news on the interview!
Re continually breaking zips. I think it would be worth your OH trying the coat in a couple of sizes larger. As a person of womanly curves, I find that coats can fit perfectly while I am trying them on in the shop & happily posing in the mirror. However, like somebody else has already commented, once sitting down, there's a fair bit of pressure exerted on the zip & I make sure I actually take coats into the dressing rooms now so that I can do them up then sit down on the little seats usually found in there to check that there's also plenty of room to move around in the coat when I'm seated. I can imagine that the base of a coat zip could easily be pulled apart when out scootering because sitting down instantly makes bulky garments feel tighter.
It sounds like an annoying problem which you would like to see solved.

Had to log on to my work laptop to order my train tickets because my iPad wasn’t playing ball for some reason. Whilst I was logged on I noticed an email asking me to book an interview slot. So the interview is 13 January, a fair bit of time to prepare. My line manager said she would go through a mock interview with me. On the plus side for me working as a PA in private office isn’t for everyone so it narrows down applications and they wanted someone with experience which I have plenty of.

  • Congratulations on interview and good you have plenty of time to prepare.  Hope funeral goes as well as any funeral can go.
