Cheap Ryanair Flights Discussion Area

I'm of the same opinion. Got 3 x £2 returns Newcastle to Dublin. Only bad bit is I can't fly Friday or Sunday as they up the price but I just go around that. Yes flight times are awkward too and I have to get a taxi to Newcastle airport which is £25...but still £27 or £13.50 each way isn't bad to another country.
And the total airfare is less than it'd cost to get a single to my nearest town on a bus!
And Timbo...the offers are for Sept-October. You may be lucky and find a few in August but I haven't managed.0 -
Why is it that people expect so much more from Ryanair than any other airline? If BA, Thomas Cook, Firstchoice charge high rates for August flights noone bats an eyelid, but if it's Ryanair people think it's a scam or ripoff, this is a business after all and the rules of supply & demand apply.0

There were loads of £1 flights in August when the sale first started (months ago) - most will have already been sold as there are only so many "sale" seats per flight.0

afraid I havent read all 17 pages of this thread so forgive me if its already been discussed.I looked this am for £1 flights and found loads but still with massive taxes etc. I thought the offer includes taxes etc????0
-
It does include taxes!
You want the ones that say "Free Online Check in", not the ones that say "Regular fare" as these do indeed include the taxes.
Keep looking, there are plenty when you know how to spot them!0 -
Do you work for Ryanair's PR firm? No-one who has ever paid a fortune (and most of us do - otherwise the airline would not be as profitable as it is), to fly in filth, be greeted by a the single surly low-paid Ryanair check in clerk, who got up at 3am to keep his £11k a year job, would bother to take the time to write in and let us know how fantastic Ryanair are.0

That is hardly a caveat.0

Sigh. You can't argue with stupidity.0

I gather the promotion closes tonight. I would guess there may be a fixed amount of £1 seats per flight, hence it there are better chances of blagging one earlier on in the promo.
To stop the whinging next time, I would suggest that if you are in doubt just post up:
- Departure Airport
- Destination
- Dates able to travel
And someone will tell you what flights are included in the special offer if there are any. It really is a simple search, !!!!!!.0
