Next week I will be doing my third trip with them this year (and the most expensive) to Maribor (Slovenia) for £22 inc taxes. Ryanair do what they say on 'the tin' If you don't like them, fly with another Airline.
I couldn't agree more, it cost me £12 to go 36 miles a service bus in Somerset
but just £1 (all in) to get from the South of France to Bristol.
I love Ryanair, used them 100+ times, never have check-in luggage and I've
never had a problem. Slight delay once while they changed a wheel but we still arrived on time.
I flew London to Sweden and back in the early 80 with SAS (Airline not the army) - cost £330 then. Seen it £2 return with Ryanair neary 30 years later!!!
If you don't like them, don't use them just don't b****y moan about them, Without them all of the flights would still be too expensive for any of us. :A0 -

Endless news reports, combined with looking at statistics. Monarch are a dreadful scheduled airline, though their charter operation isn't that bad. From Poland...with love.

I have flown with Monarch on a number of occasions and have had nothing other than a courteous, puntual and pleasant experience.
I have flown with Ryanair once and can honestly say it was the worst air journey I have ever had.
The flight was delayed for 3 hours without any adequate explanation, the staff were rude to the point of being belligerent, the plane was filthy and the onboard service was nothing more than a nusiance,i can only sympathise with the flight crew who were obviously instucted that selling Scratchcards was their main priority.
That was enough for me,never again will I use Ryanair even supposing the flights were free.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

You must have been extremaly unlucky! I'll defend Ryanair. I flown with them 10 times and only once I had 1h delay on service from Dublin to Prestiwck. I agree with Michael O'Learry that "airplane is nothing more than a bus with wings". The airlines duty should be to get You from point to point primo. I paid 10p for my 10 flights... How could I hate Ryanair?? Even if I'd have to spend 5 hours at the airport once or twice I'd still appreciate the price/service relation.0 -
you can book £5 flights all in going to a destination, but looks like when you want to come back they are not £5 returns and you have to pay taxes etc! or am i wrong???0

All Ryanair flights are sold as singles - so while there may be £5 flights going one way, it's no guarantee that they'll be available on your return. From Poland...with love.

Why is everyone so anti-Ryan Air?
You just need to know how to play the system. THE PAGE ON THIS IS WRONG!! It says even on the promotional 1p fares etc you still end up paying ~£35 but YOU DON'T.
When they run promos like this there are NO airport taxes and NO check-in fee. I should know, I book them all the time. I booked a few weeks ago when the flights were £1 all inclusive. (I could have saved £3.96 [2 people return] if I had waited for this offer!!)
I pay on visa electron - really easy to get through the post.
I never check hold baggage - theres no need when a carry on bag is fine for a week or too.
Be flexible on dates and wait for tax free promos!!0 -
Ryanair have changed our flights out of london 2x recently-first time in 8 years -but we travel down from scotland and both times they have happily changed us to much more expensive flights out of scotland which have suited us better -we just asked nicely and they were very happy and polite.0
