I would like to book some flights with ryanair but I only have a solo card at present, which is not accepted by the site. Are there any third party agents on the internet where i can book ryanair flights? A local travel agent can do it, but with a 12% fee.

On arrival to Dublin we walked straight out of the airport onto a bus!

Can I just remind people to buy a Rambler Day Ticket for the bus before leaving the airport, the desk is to the left of the exit door. This will cost 10euros and apart from covering your bus travel for the day you can use the airport express buses 747 and 748 to the city centre and back. You don't need to have kids to be a family :D

Good advice. Thats actually what we did. Went to the desk and paid 10 euros for the 747 bus (covered the 2 of us) - then walked straight on the bus.

I have flown twice with ryanair this year

Stockholm- skavsta airport good distance away from Stockholm- took about 80/90 mins on coach- but excellent bus link and a nice little airport

Krakow- ryanair fly to krakow main airport (whereas other budhet carriers often go to katowice) which was about 30 mins in cab from city centre

Hi - new to this forum. Has anyone any detailed knowledge of the charges Ryanair add to flights. I've e-mailed them (copy below) but will probably have to wait a month of Sundays for a reply. Basically are the charges fixed on a particular route on a particular day?

Hi – I have called your offices however I was advised to call a £1 per minute number for the answer. I cannot afford to do that hence this e-mail.
    Booking references:
    1. xxxxxx – 3 persons travelling from Liverpool to Carcassonne 27th Sept returning 4th October. On-Line Check in due to no baggage. No flight cost going out or return.
    2. xxxxxx – 5 persons travelling from Liverpool to Carcassonne 27th Sept returning 4th October. Airport Check- in and 5 Bags. £12.99 flight cost going out, no cost on return.

Can you please provide a breakdown of the charges applied to each account? I have no problem with the Flight charge, Check-in fee, Baggage fee or Debit Card fee.
I’m usually ok at understanding these issues but I must admit to being confused here and as I’m splitting the cost up between the persons travelling I need to know the breakdown. I’m ok with the following charges per person:
    · £10 UK Air Passenger Duty.
    · £4.04 each way Aviation Insurance Levy.
    · £0.33 each way Wheelchair Levy
    This totals £18.74 per person.
The 3 person booking totals £97.14 with no flight fee. Removing the Debit Card fee of £7.20 this leaves £89.94 in charges/taxes. This equates to £29.98 per passenger.
Using the above £18.74, can you explain what the remaining £11.24 is for? I assume it’s primarily a Passenger Service Charge and a French Govt Tax. Can you also confirm if the above taxes and charges are fixed for a particular flight on a particular day?
Also when I view my booking on-line the breakdown comes to £67.16 (29.98 + 29.98 + 7.20). Is there a reason why this breakdown doesn’t match the total?

The 5 person booking totals £424.85. Removing the Flight Charge (£64.95), Baggage (£80.00), Check-in (£40.00) & Debit Card fee (£12.00) this leaves £227.90 in charges/taxes. This equates to £45.58 per passenger.
Again taking the above £18.74, can you explain what the remaining £26.84 is for? Again, I assume it’s primarily a Passenger Service Charge and a French Govt Tax.
    Also when I view my booking on-line the breakdown comes to £366.28 (174.32 + 59.96 + 40.00 + 80.00 + 12.00). Is there a reason why this breakdown doesn’t match the total?

Finally, and this may have been answered by the above, can you confirm why the charges differ by £15.60 per person, i.e. £29.98 on the 3 person booking and £45.58 per person on the 5 person booking?

I don't know, I'm afraid, but would be interested to see any response you get if you could post it here.
    Thanks.
