I am just having a cup of coffee at the moment. It looks like it will be a nice day weather wise today. :)

Dull but dry, so that's OK.

I'm accumulating a few LOs so can foresee a use up session coming along

Lunch, is to use up the last of the bread rolls, & more corned beef & pickle
Dinner, LO cold roast chicken and find something to do with the LO boiled spuds. Put in AF and call them roasties or big chips?

I had two crumpets with Flora for breakfast.

I went out for a walk and it is very warm and sunny today. I put some mini veggie sausage rolls in the air fryer this morning. I'm going to have a few of them cold with cherry tomatoes, chopped up cucumber, celery and carrots. Probably some grapes and a clementine too.

Afternoon All, its pleasantly warm outside but can only be described as grey.

Was well chuffed with my gammon joint, especially considering it was Sainbugs cheap one. It was a good size and has given me tea last night, generous end bits for lunch today, 4 portions and some stock for the freezer  :)

Made it to the end of a long week, wine has been taken 😉

Bit grey this morning but brightened up enough to get a load dried on the line. Brightened up as the afternoon went on.

Busy couple of days of socialising coming up so nipped out for essentials and to collect an order after work.

Lunch was tortellini, tuna, peas, sun dried tomatoes and pesto. Chicken and broccoli Thai red curry with noodles tonight 😋

I finished work at 3.30pm 🙂 I just have to set up my laptop for when the new person has a start date and send it to her, which as longas it is next week before my official end date will be no problem after that IT will cut me off.  I will need to go laptop shopping as I've only tablets having used the work one for anything else, I just need a basic one which I can add Word / Excel to 🙃

smoked mackerel, horseradish and watercress roll for lunch with olives and gherkins.  Stir fry beef and veggies with rice for dinner in a Chinese type sauce

    How do you feel Brambling?

I had a strawberry milkshake this morning. I'm not feeling all that hungry for some reason, but I might make spaghetti for brunch as I have lots of mushrooms.

    Good morning everyone,
Glad everything is pretty much wrapped up Brambling.
Dull but dry here today. DS2 is at his mates skip filling, DS1 & DIL2B are dropping Frank off shortly before heading to watch the Old Firm game at a friend's house. Dinner for them all plus my sis here this evening. I'm making chilli beef enchiladas. Cooked the filling yesterday so just need to assemble and sort out sides later. Must crack on and empty the dishwasher before Frank arrives, they don't have one and he is absolutely obsessed with mine! Not so bad if it's full of dirty stuff but a pain if it's clean stuff!
Tomorrow DS2 and I are being treated by DS1 and DIL2B to lunch at "111 by Modou" https://www.theguardian.com/food/2023/m ... reat-place . We are having the "Total Trust" option.  :)

    Hot & sunny so far.
Went into town on the bus for a change, first time since Covid. I used the bus because there is a car show in town, which is why I went, and parking will be manic being Bank Hol as well.

Quite pleasant as I was there early, so no big crowds had built up, just mooched a bit then came home with a pack of fancy, and expensive, Isle of Wight tomatoes

Lunch was a HM ploughman's. With some posh IOW tomatoes.
Dinner, with the hot weather I think some variation on the lunchtime ploughman, maybe with a jacket spud?
