Morning All, lovely sunny day here, there is a fresh breeze coming off the sea so got a load of washing out before I went for a good walk.
Salami and strawberry salad for lunch. Found a portion of chicken pie mix in the freezer which I'll do with a sweet potato topping and tenderstem broccoli on the side.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

I had my GP appointment and dropped off a donation bag to a charity shop. It was very lightly drizzling, but I didn't need to put up my umbrella.
I had a toastie when I got in and I'm about to make a strawberry and soya milk smoothie with Crusha syrup!

Good afternoon everyone,
Grey and drizzling here.
Tesco order has been finalised. I've no real plans for today apart from a bit of herb potting though if I CBA I might make a start of decluttering the linen cupboard or do some ironing.
LO pasta for lunch. Yoghurt chicken curry with rice and naan for dinner.0 -
More meetings today but really enjoyed them. Also had some good catch ups and did a few small tasks in between times.
Roasted pepper and mozzarella salad for lunch. Sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight 😋0 -
Not sure what I think about salami and strawberries 🤔 is it good?Need2bthrifty said:Salami and strawberry salad for lunch. Found a portion of chicken pie mix in the freezer which I'll do with a sweet potato topping and tenderstem broccoli on the side.
My front door latch fell out tonight, when I screwed it back in I found I couldn't lock the door so obviously something not right, luckily I can lock it if I remove the latch so no need for emergency out of hours repairers. Hopefully I can find someone local to do it tomorrow otherwise it's the weekend 🙄 Must be punishment for me being short to the guy who phoned today about window scrappage scheme!More of the gammon for lunch in a sandwich with piccalilli, just a little bit left for £6 it went a long way 😋 Chicken shawarma and rice for dinner, cooked in one pan on the hob, I over chillied so it's spicy but one I'll do again just not add the chilli flakes twice!Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Sunny & dry for the time being, rain tonight it seems.Hope to get some pottering done first, planting up some Cosmos & tomatoes.
Don't mention chilli, I bought a small truckle of Apricot, lime & chilli cheese in Morries yesterday, you know the sort, covered in wax?Brambling said:More of the gammon for lunch in a sandwich with piccalilli, just a little bit left for £6 it went a long way 😋 Chicken shawarma and rice for dinner, cooked in one pan on the hob, I over chillied so it's spicy but one I'll do again just not add the chilli flakes twice!Gawd it's burning stuff
, I thought with the lime it would be just nicely “warm”. Mind you, I'm not used to hot chilli or curried foods.I need to finalise my Asda shop. Typical, just as I discover the cheapo Essentials yoghurt is fine it gets discontinued, along with the Essentials Weetabix copy and baked beans
Lunch, still with grilled cheese on toastDinner, defrosted flan + salad bitsNumerus non sum0 -
I just had some strawberries and water as I am going out for lunch soon. I am eating tonight at Wetherspoons too so it probably won't be a healthy day!
It looks nice and sunny out. I'm wearing a denim skirt with sandals and I helpfully bumped my knee last night so I have a big bruise.

Good morning everyone,
Cloudy but dry here and quite warm.
Tesco due later and I need to tackle some ironing, no point in looking out and washing summer stuff (mainly linen) if I can't wear it.
We're hosting a family bbq on Sunday, after DS1 dropped a less than subtle hint lol, so we'll need to get the garden furniture and bbq looked out and scrubbed.
LO curry for lunch and usual Friday tbc for dinner.0 -

- good handful of rocket, sliced strawberries, chiffonade of
basil, generous sprinkling of black pepper, drizzle of balsamic and a side
order of salami & crusty bread. I ended using strawberries because the SM
melons and nectarines were rock hard and didn't smell or feel anywhere near being ripe.
Tea tonight its hm quiche, new potatoes and last of the ts broccoli.
