A wet and grey start to the day, rained quite a lot for the morning, just sort of overcast now but still no heating 🙃

Busy wfh day but relatively calm and crossed loads of small, simple tasks off my to-do list.

LO jambalaya for lunch and my usual early Tuesday tea of beans with toast.

Brambling, I thought you were training up a replacement already? Obviously I misunderstood. Do you think you will finish up having to go back into the office instead of WFH before you leave, to train up your replacement?
Be A bit of a bummer if so.
They haven't interviewed anyone yet so training my replacement will be someone else's problem 🙂 I've been trying to train the replacement of a colleague who left last March, it took them six months to replace her and the newbie is a challenge! TBH if I wasn't leaving they would not have kept her on after her six month trial period. The office was packed up and closed down so my replacement will be uk based WFH.  So glad it's not going to be my problem any more 😁

Rainy start to the day but turned out to be a nice afternoon

salmon salad for lunch with potato salad.  Gammon, egg and chips for dinner

Morning Everyone, its very very foggy here today so its a good day to catch up on some of the things at the bottom of my "To Do" list.

Made a pot of soup yesterday to use up a few veggies on the turn - that'll be lunch sorted.

Tea tonight is poached salmon, new potatoes, beetroot salad and horseradish mayo on the side.

I had a smoothie, some crackers with Flora and some green tea as I was still feeling slightly sick. I ordered a book and some vitamins from Amazon so I had to get up fairly early. I am going to finish my current book today as I'm waiting in.

Cooler and sun is undecided, in or out. But it's dry anyway.

i was going into town but changed my mind, feeling a bit lack lustre, so maybe the jab is still fighting? Either way, nothing urgently required.
I've taken some mince out to defrost, if I had gone into town I'd have picked something up there.

Lunch, more grilled cheese & pickle on toast
Dinner, if defrosted in time, HM burgers using the mince, plus salad bits

    Good morning everyone,
Sunny just now after a miserable day yesterday but there's rain due this afternoon. Hector and Ari are both snoozing on the deck.
I'm still quite sore after physio, I had a horribly shaky leg yesterday but thankfully that's eased but another gentle day is on the cards.
LO gammon in a wrap with salad for lunch. Chilly cheesy meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta for dinner.

I had a nap this afternoon for about half an hour and feel much better for it. I had baked beans on a slice of toast when I got up and some more Aldi orange chocolate after. I went for a short walk and it is very warm and sunny indeed here.

I have a GP appointment tomorrow morning but I think I should be lucky and miss the rain again walking there and back.
