It is still fairly warm here. I just hung the washing outside. I should check to see if we are due any rain, though.

Glad you are feeling better Farway, I agree this time was different and it felt like I'd really been given a dose of the virus. I also have an invite for a pneumonia and meningitis vaccine in a couple of months - its never ending, but I hate being ill so take any protection I'm offered
Great news about your nephew Brambling, he must be so pleased; I really don't envy anyone starting out on their career path these days.
Egg salad for lunch and tonight its the ragu I made yesterday with penne and tenderstem broccoli.

I've been fighting off a migraine all day. The new medication my GP gave me didn't seem to do anything. It says not to bother taking a second dose if the first tablet didn't work.
I had a very bland lunch of a "chicken" steak, some basmati rice and sliced cucumber with a bit of hoisin sauce. That type of bland food seems to make me feel better. I will have a bath tonight and use my cold compress eyeglasses and I should be fine.2025 GOALS

Phew, what a day, back to back meetings and interviews. And because I’m a glutton for punishment, I am off out to a voluntary meeting shortly 🙃
Tuna, sweetcorn and caper salad for lunch. Just had the last of the peanut, sweet potato and chickpea stew from the freezer, with a toasted pitta. I expect a cookie might get eaten with a cuppa later 😉0 -

Dampish start but sun creeping out now.Hope your migraine goes soon Wednesday, I count myself lucky it is one thing I don't get.Brambling, I thought you were training up a replacement already? Obviously I misunderstood. Do you think you will finish up having to go back into the office instead of WFH before you leave, to train up your replacement?Be A bit of a bummer if so.Lunch, grilled cheese on toast + pickleDinner, defrosting a MFO beef lasagne, which I may have just as is, or add some frozen mixed veggies toEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Good morning everyone,
Hope the migraine has eased Wednesday.
Raining and grey here today and a bit cooler. I'm sore and quite bruised after yesterday's physio so plan to gently potter and see what the day brings. My sis is coming for dinner, we're having gammon topped with bbq sauce and cheese, corn, salad and potatoes so not too much to prep later. I'm going to cut the gammon into steaks so it won't need long to cook. LO peri peri chicken for lunch.

I feel so much better after reflexology. I think that was the best session I had with her. I will still feeling sick and dizzy this morning, but feel fine now. I had a roll and some crisps when I got home.
I might have pizza and salad for dinner tonight now I have my appetite back!2025 GOALS
