Your household is definitely cooking at the bleeding edge!
ETA: forgot to say that dinner was salad followed by this sweet potato soup Slow cooker sweet potato soup - Slow cooker vegetable soup recipe (goodhousekeeping.com) with a slice of brown toast.6 -
Was in the office to work all day yesterday - after a late start delivering a huge fundraised shop to the local food bank. Back was a bit twingey after shifting boxes of tinned goods......so that's my excuse for resorting to KFC for dinner. Small salad to go with my portion to delay me getting at the chips. And sad to say there's leftover KFC waiting for my lunch which is why I decided that plain blueberries would be sufficient for breakfast.
No idea yet what we'll have for dinner today....I've a load of store bought peppers that need to be prepped and frozen if they are not going to be used. And disappointed to see that due to not watering one of my two tomato plants has died...£1 cost resulting in 2 very small not yet ripened tomatoes. I really don't know why I bother!! 5 pepper plants free from a friend are doing absolutely nothing as well. Not that I really needed scotch bonnets....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Tonight I am making Nigel Slater’s recipe for spicy sausage pasta in a cream sauce. I watched him make it on the Food Channel recently, and it looked delicious. Have bought posh Spanish sausages for it!1

Made coleslaw to use up some red cabbage and rather bendy carrots (mayonnaise from this recipe following stick blender method How to make mayonnaise – recipe | Food | The Guardian) and ate it with the end of the brie, brown bread and pea shoots. Planning to have some nuts and/or dried fruit with my coffee in a minute when it has all gone down a bit."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
