I made this recipe Strawberry, feta & thyme tart recipe | BBC Good Food for dinner and it was delicious. I ate it with salad with a balsamic and tahini dressing and chased it down with a pitta and homemade preserved lemon and walnut hummus. Now sitting bulging on the sofa sipping a coffee.

And it was good and bad from a food point of view....loads of sandwiches - which I managed to avoid due to trying to no carb, some excellent chicken wings which were as always very difficult to eat, some skinny fries which I couldn't resist and some halloumi fries which I'd never had before but will be having again soon I hope. I'm hoping they can be considered as good for me...

@Brie glad the memorial day went well, and you got to have a bit of a reunion.
I'm sure so long as no one was coughing into each others faces it will be fine.

Soooooooo........ Yesterday was my 50th and so it was a day full of celebrations etc and I ate what I wanted.....toast for breakfast, afternoon tea and then last night I had takeaway Pizza which was lovely. Feel a bit rough today though so think it is the after effects of way too many carbs when I am usually keto. Didn't have a drop to drink (saving that for a family weekend away next week!) so definitely not alcohol related!
Tonight I have had chicken salad with halloumi fries.2 -
Happy Birthday for yesterday, Rach! Sounds like you had a lovely day.
Dinner tonight was pan fried cod fillets marinated in honey, soy, chilli and ginger and served with steamed asparagus, tender stem broccoli and snow peas. For pud I made an apple crumble which we had with a scoop of Cornish ice cream.3 -
Happy Birthday to @rachsecret and welcome to the fabulous fifties.
Haven't bothered with anything this evening as I had lunch out today and felt I had to clean my plate so am still feeling stuffed."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
