Curry tonight (courtesy of a jar), used Quorn pieces and cooked up some chopped potatoes to put in it. Had it with rice and naan bread.

Tonight was y/s delight night here, I made thyme and marmite roasted cauliflower and chickpeas
followed by Diana Henry's ginger roasted plums
@goldfinches those plums look delicious. I’m sure OH would love those with yoghurt. I just went searching... is this the correct recipe https://www.kaveyeats.com/ginger-roasted-plums-with-lime-rum-muscovado-cream ? Thanks!
Yes that's the one, clever you for finding it.
I didn't do the cream instead I used up some coconut cream that was left over from a previous recipe and then used plain yoghurt to accompany them.
Having made the recipe here are my notes.
I used 12 South African Flavor King plums bought as y/s and cooked them in a 35cm x 23cm pyrex rectangular roasting dish for the full 30 mins at 180°C (not fan).
I used Mr T own brand dark rum and didn't add the extra 3 tablespoons in step 4. I think that ginger wine, ginger syrup from the jar and/or fresh ginger might be a very nice substitute or addition and that you might add freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice too so play around with what you've got.
They smell lovely while cooking but definitely taste even better once cooled down and they look better if you turn the plums in the juices once they're cool too so the tops don't look dry.
These were an easy make and I'll definitely be doing them again to use up space when the oven is on anyway and whenever I see some y/s stone fruit.
The finished dish would make a good topping for a cheesecake or a pavlova or could be used to make danish pastries.

We couldn't decide what to have for dinner tonight, so when I went to lidl, to get my mum some milk and fruit, I picked up a reduced pizza for me and a packet of samosas and rice for husband, which he had with a curry from the freezer.  I was so disappointed that I didnt pick up any coleslaw as that's one of my favourite things with pizza. We didnt even have any cabbage to make my own.

I don't think I posted yesterday, we had all day breakfast with sliced up leftover jacket potatoes.

Roast from the pub again today as has become our usual. New veggie option of blue cheese, leek and mushroom tart. Looking forward to trying that.

Last night I had chicken curry with an aubergine side dish that I made. Also had a cucumber, onion and tomato salsa with wild garlic as a side.
Today I had steak with mushrooms and shallots in a creamy sauce with wild garlic (that I foraged yesterday when out walking). Served it with TS broccoli, asparagus, spiced red cabbage and swede puree.
My friend bought me a foraging book for Christmas and so I am going to try spotting stuff during my walks.

Got up rather late due to time change and tiredness so had brunch which used up 2 slices of oaty bread from the freezer, polished off the roast mushroom and tomatoes and an egg from the fridge so all to the good. Then dinner was cous cous with ragu accompanied by asparagus and a radish salad followed by the last easy peeler.
