OH is fending for himself. He is having fish pie ready meal and my left over cheesy pasta with some mini spring rolls. (nom, nom  :D)
I'm drinking and not wanting to eat.... :#. But will obviously, likely raid the cupboard later.
However i'll cheat and use my lunch time meal as what I've ate ''for dinner'' cheesy bacon pasta. x
PS the plan for tonights was crumbed chops with something or other.. rice I think. Will be moved to tomorrow night.

We were going to have a takeaway Indian, but there was an hour and a half wait, so we got a jar out of the cupboard, prawns and spinach out of the freezer and opened a box of poppadoms and made our own. We turned a tin of potatoes into a aloo saag to go with it.

@C_J last night I made the cod recipe you shared with me; it was delicious and will definitely be doing it again.

Tonight I had a roast lamb dinner and had made a LC chocolate mousse with a blob of whipped cream which was lovely.

Yesterday's roast beef leftovers have been turned into (a) slow cooked beef and coconut curry, with some added potato and peas to pad it out it will make six portions I think, and (b) a small chunk of the roast beef was whizzed in the food processor to turn it into crumbs, which I fried with chopped onion, bacon, red pepper and garlic. I added to this some cooked macaroni, a tin of chopped tomatoes, a tin of tomato soup, some cayenne and black pepper and a big handful of grated cheese. Will bake for dinner tonight, and it looks like it will yield at least six portions.  Please with that!

I also rescued a pan of soup which I made yesterday - I used a third of a large cauliflower head and all the stalk to make some harissa-spiced cauliflower soup, but it turned out disappointingly watery and tasteless.  Today I cooked it down further after adding a chopped potato, a green chilli, and a mug of red lentils - I have just had a cup of it for lunch and it is delicious now!  Phew.
