Steak pie bought frozen. HM chips in airfryer and some squash that's been hanging around in the fridge for a while.
Hot cross bun with jam for pud.

@C_J thanks so much for the link. I have bookmarked it and will definitely give it a go. Love spiced food, and it is pretty much a low carb recipe too, except for the bhaji and I can probably do a low carb version. Even got some cod in the freezer too!

Long day / late finish at work so heated up the left over veg from Sunday's roast and had that with fish in the bag.

I halved the quantities to make four portions of this recipe yesterday

hoping for lemony, salty, thyme and cumin flavour crisps and although mine came out looking very like the photo what I tasted was potatoes with the merest hint of thyme. They look lovely in the dish but just taste ordinary and rather dull, such a let down. I don't even want to eat them they're so boring.

So dinner this evening was cheese and biscuits followed by y/s mango and easy peeler. I think I'll chop the potatoes up to go into something eggy and freeze at least half of them for when I'm feeling more like facing them and that will have to do.

Goldfinches its so disappointing isn't it when you try something new with high expectations and it doesn't turn out like you expect.  Could you use them in some kind of creamy potato bake perhaps? Maybe whack in some garlic too?

If it were me, I'd make a herby, garlic butter (or a creamy/cheesy sauce) and melt that over the potatoes to add additional flavour all the way through. Not healthy but at least they wouldn't go to waste!

@goldfinches or you could also use the potatoes to top off a lamb hot pot or similar

I had chicken fajitas for tea.
