roast chicken with roasties and butternut squash (if it's still ok) and peas. sadly no yorkshires. (didn't buy any and I can't be bothered to make any). OH, as always, will have gravy. Now I like gravy but only if it's proper stuff not the bisto type. OH doesn't understand the distinction despite agreeing that my home made gravy is better. But we're not having mash so, again, I can't be bothered.

Mixed vegetable curry, marinated tofu and rice and I'm just wondering if I've got space for a piece of fruit or not.

Had the roast chicken on Sunday and it was so big we knew there was enough for last night as well. And there's still some left over so I'll be having that while the OH has a YS haggis he picked up a couple of weeks back. He's also bought some mixed mash - potatoes, carrots and I think he said sweet potatoes. Depending on how much of that there is I will have a bit. But I've also got a courgette I could fry/roast up or maybe just have a chicken and tomato sandwich.

I had the last one of these Super Spinach Pies by Jamie Oliver with a huge salad and they do taste nice but they were quite difficult to make because there really isn't enough dough to contain the filling and it's terribly fragile when you're trying to stick it together.
I'm planning to try this Spinach, feta & lemon filo pie this weekend and tomorrow I'm going to make this Chickpea Stew to use up some ys carrots I have lurking in the veg drawer in the fridge.

A long and very tiring week and it's not over yet so I gave in to temptation and had M&S only 7 ingredients baked beans on sourdough toast with marmite and they were very good.

I had lunch out with a friend so OH didn't think I needed a proper dinner last night so just did omelets.
Tonight he's doing plaice and new potatoes. Which is nice and proper. Might wander out to the garage to check if there's still some wine available to have with it. We had bought a couple of six packs when we were coming back from Germany last summer.

I had the last portion of this Braised Borlotti Beans with Romano Peppers which was very nice.
Tomorrow I'm planning to leave a soup in the slow cooker to come home to after a chilly walk in the fresh air, I do hope it doesn't rain.

Went for the Taxco lasagne last night, the cheaper one, not the finest. It was good enough. Especially as I'd put a half a ball of mozzarella on it (well on my half, OH didn't want any). Wasn't exactly piping hot despite having followed directions.

I had a portion of this roast carrot, saffron and chickpea stew with steamed purple sprouting broccoli and brussels sprouts followed by some green grapes.
Tomorrow I'm planning to make this Dutch Baby to have with some cheese and the rest of the steamed veg from this evening for lunch and then I'm planning to make this Confit Leeks dish as my next batch cook.
